Go read the manga, it is so much better...skip the anime its trash, like shield hero they fucked up the entire story by cramming it into as few episodes as possible.

If you watch Cromartie for the love of fuck watch the dub. I cannot stress how good ADV did with the dub of this show, and that is saying a lot considering the JP voice cast is really good (Norio Wakamoto plays a robot).

The delivery of lines in the dub as well as just the series itself is a riot and is some is still topical even now.

From what I remember of the Shield Hero manga, the anime was a near 1:1 re-production of it up to where the anime left off, at least. They even adapted the extra stories added to the collected volumes. At most I think they just re-arranged a few events.

I did read the first few chapters. The manga does flesh out things more, but doesn't make it any less shit in the end and the author appear any less of a seething virgin with rage.

If there is one thing I learned from the mangaka/anime director scene it is that women too can be paedophiles, retards, fuckups, lolcows and terrible writers that make Uwe Boll look like Stanley Kubrick, just like their male counterparts.

Seriously, sometimes I lament the fact that the Farms isn't a Japanese speaking Forum, because the mangaka scene is a Kobe beef quality lolcow ranch.

So far I watched Golden Boy, a 6 ep OVA ecchi series about Kintaro Oe being a student of life and helping hot girls. Honesty this was probably my favorite OVA series I've watched and I am so sad there isn't more of it! (Might just try to find the manga ngl)

Wacky Nana TV which is about a 3 banana TV film crew trying to keep their show afloat amongst online streaming. Not gonna lie, while it's probably crap to a lot of people I had a good laugh watching how stupid it was.

Inferno Cop which is about a cop with a ghost rideresqe head who's trying to get vengeance for his dead family. I remember this one thing about a baby coming out of someone and the whole screen flooded with water or some shit, had me in tears.

Then just a few random animes I like I don't ever see people talk about are

Nah they left out certain scenes and it felt really flat to me, thus the mc reasoning for his actions looked moronic...but you are right anime stayed true to the event happening in the manga.

The reasoning for his seething virgin rage is told trough the entire story with flashbacks ect, i agree that in the first chapters it is almost offputting.

Still sounds fascinating since the life of a mangaka is hellish already. Got any noteworthy examples? I'm aware of Yuu Watase becoming a genderspecial since she never did find a boyfriend. Still is fucking hilarious she still uses female pronouns despite it, like what even is the point. :story:

The dub's the reason I know about this lol. The most I know is that Freddy Mercury is in this. It's on my to-watch list since the last 2-3 years.

I don't even care about whatever it is Takano wants to talk to Rika about next episode since she's practically been non-existent this series, this is such a weak explanation for why Rika is being forced to go through torture porn again. This is a weak excuse for a Bernkastel origin story, too, if this is even leading up to that.

Also I haven't mentioned it because I figured it was just due to the voice-actress' age, but Mika Kanai sounds horrendous as Satoko in this series, and I don't think it's because she sounds like she's deep throating the mic. There's been no heart to her performance since the very beginning, and this episode just further cemented it for me she's not giving her all. It's kinda baffling to be honest. Unless she had some surgery ages ago or has an injury of sorts, her voice should not be this throaty and scratchy and her delivery shouldn't be as stilted as it is.

The beginning was ridiculous enough, faux-yuri bait that turns into a blood feast. Odd, considering that the fourth epiode was censored. Someone on the Passione team is definitely horny for Satoko in a swimsuit and they animated it horribly.

haven't read the manga, but apparently at some point the guy pushes back and it turns into back-and-forth banter, not something like takagi-san for example. for reference, there is a certain type of women that will drive you mad this way, probably depends how you react and if you get a kick out of it.

as for the whining, it's retarded and they lost the argument years ago when they pushed the whole "demure damsel in distress is sexist", but now suddenly an assertive female character is basically rape. those tards really need to make up their make (not that they ever had any logic or rationality to begin with).
