Recently watch a 10 minute OVA for the manga The Girl From The Other Side. it's a very pretty art-house-feeling wordless short from wit studio. strongly recommend it as well as the manga (based on the first few chapters anyway)

Kazuma fucking with some side characters on how to get Valentine’s Day candy from girls.

Well, guess what suddenly got found...

I think I have a few episodes of that pre-Funimation Dragonball dub taped from YTV circa March 1996. I don't think it's the same as that Filipino one.

Yeah, they're better voice-actresses, but it didn't catch on because it's Harmony Gold. But for sure there's an AU where English speakers say "Zero" instead of "Goku", and the DBZ purists are fucking insufferable.

They only did five episodes and two of the movies. The movies have been extant for a long while, but only now has any of the episodes become extant.

Just read the entirety of Dorohedoro after a random search for currently popular anime/manga, and by god I have never felt more connected to characters before in a long time (For manga atleast). The characters are so endearing and interesting, the gore is nice and brutal, and the overall plot and setting is super interesting to learn about. I also love how throughout the entire story no romance bullshit got in the way, despite the constant teasing by certain characters.

Good lord it feels good to see some good fucking manga after the droves of Sword Art Online's and the like. A very funny and refreshing experience.

Quick edit: Also this fucking opening is addicting, send help

I saw Black Lagoon and Roberta's Blood Trail two years ago. Both amazing series.

I purchased the Baccano DVD because it looked a little like BL meets Bebop and the clerk looked envious. I didn't ask why but I thought it was strange. I googled and low and behold it's been out of print for a very long time (#fuckyouaniplex) so I totally understand his reaction now. :sighduck:

Baccano is fucking great, you're in for a treat.

Late to the party, but I just recently saw the latest Code Geass movie and just...jeeze. Is it more difficult to ask where to begin or end? Well how about we begin with the most important question : Whose idea was it to bait-and-switch the fanbase into watching a movie when they promised a whole season because holy crap that is some Disney Star Wars/No Man's Sky/FF15 marketing failure there. And to boot, I'm now just learning they had re-released modified versions of the previous 2 seasons that partially retcons a few things (in particular Shirley not dying if I'm not mistaken) that happened in the original. Why? Why would you do all that? I mean, I'm sure people's expectations regardless of what they would have done had they tried continuing from season 2 would have been that this was going to be some kind of vanity fanservice project which, for the most part, the movie was, but they didn't need to go through all this nonsense just to end up giving fans a movie(s) that retcons some of the things that came before. Doing that pretty much pisses away the good will to the fan base. Who honestly expected a continuation would have never made sense (not that the series itself did that much) anyway? They should have just promised and made an OVA or just a movie, not a freaking season only to give a movie that bears no resemblance to what they hyped up.

As for the movie itself, it's just...whatever. Have Lelouch be a badass mastermind one more time. That and some decent animation and music. That's about it. A few fanservice moments though not that much (I expected to see more of Jeremiah Gottwald). Certainly not enough to warrant having another adventure. What a complete waste.

None. Grow up. Be a man. Stop with childish cartoons and bullshit. Read a book (not comic), go on an adventure, learn a skill. Don't waste precious time with dead-end garbage that you'll never be able to use for anything. You'll thank me later.
