Recently finished No Guns Life and strongly recommend for anyone into seinen action type stuff. the show is basically a noir private I piece set in a cyberpunk universe. think NGL got overlooked with Vinland taking all the hype as under rated show of the season but if the premise/genre interests you it's well worth checking out.

Ascendance of a Bookworm was the other show i thought got pretty overlooked. very cute anime that you can enjoy even if you're not an isekai fan.

Ishuzoku Reviewers is out, be prepared to massive amount of sperging from anime lolcows and toxic fandoms.
If people aren't watching this they should.

Ishuzoku is basically the pure autism of monster-girl fetishists' screeds about the pluses and minuses of squid girls, bird girls etc. condensed it into a konosuba-esque buddy comedy.

it will have limited appeal because of how bizarre it is but it could easily be a top tier comedy if it keeps up the quality (could go to shit pretty easily though). op and ed are both bangers

Just watched the first episode of this, gave me the feeling of a early 2000s anime, really refreshing from the schlock we usually get these days.
I won't lie, I was kind of interested in the show once I heard of the premise, I'm kind of a sucker for shows that talk about how animation (anime or otherwise) is produced and it's actually quite the watch so far. Especially the visuals when the trio go into their fantasy worlds, I like how sketchy and watercolor-y the setting becomes in those sequences.

Netflix is really dropping the ball with anime if it's suppose to be one of their big advantages over Disney plus.

Lol fucking crunchyroll. Some of the shit I see there is so cringy I almost want to just give up on the place entirely.

Review for Seton academy
It's funny because Jin is the exact opposite of an ignorant racist because he knows everything about animals. If anything, it's closer to those UN guys who do peacekeeping in Africa and get redpilled.
Which it still isn't, because it's an animal comedy.

Just watch Silver Spoon. The artstyle will probably fit the tone of a slice of life comedy show better, and most of the characters sort of look like characters from FMA anyway.

Also you get to learn how Japanese people farm.

Speaking of which, guess what is finally getting translated for its last few chapters:

I think a certain someone *cough@RomanesEuntDomuscough* will be pleased to hear about someone starting Dennou Coil.

Weirdest first episode I've seen in years. I thought I accidentally started the second episode because it just drops you into this setting where weird, crazy cyber shit's going on, and they're dropping down these alien-sounding names/words that don't sound real. Like, this feels more like a modern-day interpretation of My Neighbor Totoro meets Earthbound and even that's not explaining it well enough. The animation's really smooth, like yeah, it's Madhouse, but that's some good art for a twelve-year-old show. There's a piece of music that made me think of Yoshi's Story for some reason, so I was like "Ohhhh video games" which kinda helped in getting hunkered in, but it's still so weird.

Granny's an oddball lmao. You don't get elderly characters like her often.

Black Clover is better than MHA and it's recent OP is AMAZING. Kind of sucks it's not as popular, but i can understand why. At the surface it just looks like a Fairy Tail clone and the MC's screaming in the first dozen or so episodes leaves a terrible first impression.

Black Clover has had a good track record of good openings. My favorite one was the Magic Games arc opening. I'm excited fro this next arc!

Currently enjoying the new Sword of the Immortal adaptation, not too sad that they have to leave some stuff out since they make up for it with the amazing quality.

On a side note, does anyone know if Inoue is ever gonna finish the Vagabond manga? There should only be one arc left (if he remains historically accurate with Musashi's fights) where Miyamoto crushes Sekiro's skull at the temple before he dedicates his life to philosophy and art for a few decades.

I can't help but feel a bit conflicted about Near's design, probably because I haven't seen him in so long and he looks like he's gonna join a hair metal band and knowing he's 28 now. I assume they just let his hair grow out since that's what they already did in the other One Shot manga where he was 22.
