I think that describes what I feel so far. I know its based on new game plus, but its no excuse to make the majority of characters one-dimensional especially in something that's more about the characters. The events here feel hollow compared to the Vite port since everything feels rushed like hell due of being only twelve episodes. It's at least better then the Devil Survivor 2 anime, but not by much,

By the way, could you recommend some Slice of Life anime? I have a interest of seeing more in that style.
What annoys me the most is that the reason why the characters are so one-dimensional now is because they just expect you to already know everything about Persona 4 from the game and anime. Sure, I DID know, but other people aren't gonna do the same and be very confused on why everybody has their Personae already.

As for Slice of Life anime, a few that I liked were Barakamon, Engaged to the Unidentified, Sabagebu!, and Nichijou was a really great one.

I was never crazy about Slice of Life. Keep in mind that this is the typical anime I watch:

But as a friend of mine once said, "You gotta watch some moe to balance out all the manly shit" so those are good ones.

Compared to the original Persona 4 anime, I didn't really like Golden. Nothing happens besides the Adachi and Marie social links. If you're into Slice of Life style anime, I guess it's okay but there are way better choices than Golden for that
I view the adaptions as recaps (no Vita here). I sort of enjoyed some of the original content (I assume) like the Christmas episode or Narukami giving the beatdown on Adachi. But yeah, the adaption suffers from poor pacing because 26+12 episodes aren't really enough.

I liked
- Azumanga Daioh: Probably the most well known SoL show.
- Welcome to the NHK: Not sure if it qualifies, it's about someone who suffers from depression and is paranoid of the outside world.
- Sayonara Zetsubou Sensei: Dark humor satirizing Japanese life
- Genshiken: Members of an anime club doing their thing
- and Watamote, which I think you already seen?

I seen Sayonara, fun as heck. I even have the DVD set from Malaysia. I seen only four episodes of NHK. With Watamote, I actually haven't seen yet, but I want to see it. The art stood out when looking at screenshots.

Yeah, I have some catching up to do.

It's worth a check I would say the story mirrors what happened to me (and I blame PBS for it).

Cromartie's pretty funny too. It even has Freddie Mercury as part of the cast. Who says no to Freddie Mercury?

The Paranoia Belief Syndicate? Those fuckers!

I prefer to use Public Brainwashing Service myself!

This is why there's always a struggle bringing JoJo to the West
I'm still thinking of the Koran seen in the 90's OVAs that led to that s--tstorm thanks to the internet.

I still don't see what's wrong with the Capcom game's Oing and Voing translation.

now dub it
My best guess would be that those names are owned by Capcom. Kinda like how some edited names like Soul Sacrifice (Devo) and Iced (Vanilla Ice) are owned by Viz Media. Still, I really was hoping they'd be able to keep the names considering the real ones are right there for everyone to see, plus they were able to keep N'Doul. It's a lot harder to hide than "Dan of Steel".

Also, I'm getting huge 4kids vibes from that edit.

Too bad there isn't one for JoJolion, let me try:

In a another planet just like ours, Jamie Jackson's little brother, Jason Jackson wakes up on a beach after some wacky sleep-walking and doesn't remember what happened the week before, so he goes on a quest to find out. Along the way, he gets help from his new friend Yasmine Harolds and the Hitchman family. Using the slippery powers of his Brawler "Fluffy & Damp" he's going to fight some soap scum and find out more about the mysterious "Side Holes" in JaJa's Kooky Quest: JaJaland.

I've finished the original, minus the episode Tomino wanted dropped from the US release. Best Gundam Finale I've seen yet. Char is my favorite character, followed by Ramba Ral and Dozle Zabi.

I'm 1/3 done Zeta right now. Let me just say, I've wanted to watch it for about 8-9 years now and it's living up to expectations.

I agree. In my humble opinion, nothing beats the original and Char's awesomeness. Either way, I am glad you are enjoying the series. :)

What about Gundam Wing? Have you seen Gundam Wing yet?

18 episodes in. I find it's gotten better in that time, but I'm having trouble cheering for the heroes. With the exception of Quatre, they all come across as varying flavors of asshole (and only Duo's a likable asshole). Honestly, I like Zechs and Treize more.

My nostalgia for the series is more towards the suits and the first opening. I built a Wing Gundam Gunpla as a kid and when I first started building Gunpla (again, since I found a few models in high school that sadly got trashed when some relatives came over with their kids), the Wing Gundam was the first HG I bought. Still have the Deathscythe action figure though (lost my Shenlong and Epyon), although it's missing a shoulder and the weapons.

I'm about halfway through Cowboy Bebop so far, and I'm kinda embarrassed to ask...

Does it get any better? I mean, it's not bad or anything, and I intend to watch it all, but so far, I think it's just... okay. I guess I shouldn't hype myself up for stuff I never watched, but so far, it's just not doing much for me.

The end is intense.

Season 2 of Tokyo Ghoul started this month and they already censored one of the best scenes.

Seems like this would've been awesome if animated, right? It was completely removed. Instead, the guy getting his bones crushed got dragged away from the fight by one of his comrades.
They also changed a lot in the first season, so I'm kinda scared.
