Finished Gundam SEED. I don't hate it, despite the drop in writing massively pissing me off in the last act. But I don't really like it either, despite having characters I really enjoyed. Such a shame too, as I genuinely enjoyed it during the first 28 episodes (minus the nation of ORB).

Today's Jojo was pretty good! Admittedly, I haven't read up to this arc in the manga yet, but I thought this episode was a good refresher on who the characters are and what they're doing. I liked the OP and ED well enough, but I don't think they're as good as the previous seasons.

I was so disappointed Holy Diver by DIO wasn't the ED.

Guys help me out here: my (d)weeb friends have been recommending Durararararara to me and man I watched the first episode and I...was...man I was just bored.

Is it worth it? A kiwi's opinion is required. If it's good enough to warrant a much-hyped second season then I'll at least give ep. 2 a shot but right now it feels like crap.

People keep complaing Gundam: Reconquista in G makes no sense. Characters, story, setting, it has people scratching their heads. While it doesn't hold your hand like other shows (*cough*SEED*cough*) but to say it doesn't make sense is not true. Simply put, it tells you the story but it doesn't tell you that it's telling you. A little line that the viewer may not pay attention to can be a treasure trove of plot. It doesn't attention to it because, in universe, it's often common knowledge.

You have to give it your undivided attention, make notes if you must. It's that kind of show from episode 1. I would not recommend marathoning it because mind needs to adapt to the show.

Granted, the worst thing about this is I end up feeling like a hipster because I actually get it. I'm not the only one, but those scratching their heads going "what's happening?" seem to be in the majority and there's only so many times I can explain the show.

I gotta admit, the first DRRR! episode wasn't too great. It gets really fucking good as it goes on though.

Read the manga. That shit gave me nightmares. Good times :)

Focusing on finishing Gundam SEED. 35/48 episodes down (HD remaster) and, wow. After the Strike/Aegis battle the writing just jumped off a cliff. I mean, before it was good, not great but still okay. Now it's becoming insulting.

I felt so bad for poor Akira...Really did not expect anything good happening to him, but still... :(

Have you watched the original Gundam series? If not, you should totally give it a try. Char Aznable is a magnificent bastard.

I've finished the original, minus the episode Tomino wanted dropped from the US release. Best Gundam Finale I've seen yet. Char is my favorite character, followed by Ramba Ral and Dozle Zabi.

I'm 1/3 done Zeta right now. Let me just say, I've wanted to watch it for about 8-9 years now and it's living up to expectations.

Noticed someone did this video explaining a certain movie from 35 years ago...

So far this season I only have picked Drrr s02,death parade, yoru no yatterman and rolling girls, some guys in Twitter were trying to convince me to watch yuri kuma arashi maybe I will download it tomorrow

Also it's looks like yoshitsugu matsuoka is the new standard in voices for Mary sues, he is in two shows this season and in both he is a overpowered Mc, sao has pigeonholed him terribly

Shit, a Coster recommendation is good enough for me. I'll give it another couple episodes but if it bites I'll bitch at you about it lol

I liked it. Admittingly, it does have a slow pace and you might have to go back and piece the story together to make sense of things.

I finally been watching some more anime for once. I'm on episode 6 of Persona 4 the Golden Animation. So far its been a bore, through I'm really liking episode six because of Adachi.

Compared to the original Persona 4 anime, I didn't really like Golden. Nothing happens besides the Adachi and Marie social links. If you're into Slice of Life style anime, I guess it's okay but there are way better choices than Golden for that

I think that describes what I feel so far. I know its based on new game plus, but its no excuse to make the majority of characters one-dimensional especially in something that's more about the characters. The events here feel hollow compared to the Vite port since everything feels rushed like hell due of being only twelve episodes. It's at least better then the Devil Survivor 2 anime, but not by much,

By the way, could you recommend some Slice of Life anime? I have a interest of seeing more in that style.
