Some people who bitch about it are usually HxH or Berserk fans, who get triggered because their series aren't unique and try to say that in those works rape have a meaning unlike whatever the edgy shit that is talked.

Edit: World trigger is back. I like the series because it feels like a fusion of a sport series with war and scifi themes.

to me it just seems that whenever ssomething slightly controversial comes up, people just go either apeshit or attention whoring.
This feels like crybaby 2.0.
People like to rile up shit to get clicks and then nobody even remembers jackshit after 2 weeks.
 
Did anyone ever bother seeing the My Hero Academia movie? I heard it's good and I really liked the show but I'm curious if the movie is even worth seeing. Same with Goblin Slayer because I heard there's rape scenes in it or something.

I know you won't see this cause well you know. But I thought it was pretty good. Not amazing or anything, but better than most anime films based on tv animes.
 
Just watched the first few episodes of Goblin Slayer. It's meh. The creator obviously has a rape fetish, but I like the design of the titular Goblin Slayer. Honestly, if the show cut out all the female characters and was just Goblin Slayer murdering tiny green people it'd be a much better show. More DOOM meets Dark Souls less softcore hentai.

From what I've heard about the Manga, it blows its proverbial and literal load in that first episode/volume, and the rest is more lighthearted character stuff interspersed with occasional goblin slaughters.

Ive heard that gobby doomguy even goes on a date with guild lady.

Either way I liked how the party that gets owned, is almost a 1to1 recreation of the main cast of konosuba.
Kinda to let you know, see? This is what would happen to thse scrubs if they didnt have plot armor.

He doesn’t.

The manga is pretty bland so far, mostly just your generic JRPG-style battles. But yeah the first party getting their asses kicked is still the highlight.

Is the light novel further deep in the story than the manga ?
Maybe thats why.
I mean, I've read it on a yt comment, So it could be bs.

He does in the harvest festival arc, only to guild girl being pussyblocked by a assassin, in that volume also appears the hero(ine) that is just Haruhi with a Saber Lilly armor and Excalibur Galatine

Yes, the manga is barely in the second volume of the Light novel, there are 8 volumes as far as i know with 5 released by yen press, and like someone said, the edgyness is pretty much downplayed after the incident in the cave (in the manga and anime, in the novel is just a commentary and it only last three lines), yes there are mentions of rape but is show as something despicable the Goblins do to bolster their numbers and get a kick out of it, the rest is pretty much the guy making preparations to rekt the goblins in more creative ways because the elf keep banning him to go full Frank Castle on them, as i said in the discord of my friends, the thing is just a long ass d&d 4th edition campaign only that you only kill goblins

I Imagined that was the case, since usually the light novel is the first form of the story to hit the market and then, comes the manga and anime.
I've also read that he does remove his helmet in front of everybody at one point and suddenly the floor gets flooded.

The TV show or the OVA, that is: Hellsing or Hellsing Ultimate?

The TV show is pretty rad, but Ultimate is just balls off the walls crazy and amazing.
It's also one of these rare occasions where the german Dub is actually not just tolerable but outright amazing. The Major furiosly ranting in German about war is just all kinds of awesome.

He does but you don't actually see his face, in the ln illustrations he more or less look like a less optimistic Adol Christin

Who the fuck thought "incognito" was a good villain?
The only decent parts are the ones that are similar to the original story.
