So, I have recently begun rewatching Gundam Wing for the first time in like a decade and a half, and I am surprised at how good it held up. I do want to watch the other Gundam series as well, and I am thinking of starting Gundam SEED after I finish Gundam Wing.

you would be surprised to see how much rejection Wing ha amongst fans these days.

Just rewatched the Castlevania anime and the scene where Dracula fucked up that one city. All I have to say about that scene was "Damn... Now that's fucking metal."

yeah, can't wait for season 2.Hope they don't forget about Grant and also use music from the games.

yeah, but it's also an harem, so it sucks.
It's the only "harem" I know of that involves the punching and suplexing of girls that do stupid things, and the main boy takes no shit from anybody.

Also I should not be watching Pop Team Epic while high.

Finished Devilman Crybaby. Had a much darker ending than I expected, now I kinda wanna watch the old OVAs.

Anyone read One Piece chapter 904 yet? Thought it was pretty decent, it wasn't as hype as 903 but there was still a lot of important character introductions and story setting up, the Reverie arc looks like it's going to end in a bang.

Also I love that Oda will still use Ivankov and other okamas in the story freely without giving a single fuck whether or not they'd be considered offensive stereotypes. When The Simpsons are bending over backwards for triggered SJWs, it's nice to know that at least Japan has still got its shit together.

Well yeah, it's fucking Japan. But as much as Ivankov pushes the envelope just simply for existing in a relatively gender-neutral setting (or did he enforce it because of it?), he did quickly win over the hearts of just about everyone during Impel Down. And on top of being with the Revolutionary Army, he was involved with Sanji's training during the two years, so he's just an overall cool, funny guy who uses the concept of gender, enzymes and hormones in hilariously-awesome ways. I also imagine talking shit about the character in general would just get a bunch of people jumping on your back for various reasons, so I'm probably more surprised he's not being considered a sacred cow in some circles at this point.

Has anyone watched the new anime airing Megalo Box? It's pretty dope so far. The music is also pretty good. It's like a re-envisioned version of that old anime Ashita no Joe. I think it's only getting 13 episodes so I don't think it's going to end like the original did.
Watched the 1st three eps and I am stockpiling the rest, very nice show.

Reverie arc is probably gonna be really great arc, but yeah, this chapter was a bit of a letdown compared to last chapter (which was epic as fuck and probably un-toppable for now), the short length probably didn't help as well (apparently all the mangakas were on extra-tight deadlines this week, BnHA's art kinda looked unfinished).

And yes, being in Japan helps Oda not give two fucks about the tumblr crowd (is OP even big on tumblr?).

Don't forget that the flamboyant Okama niche was already carved out by Bon Clay, who generated a lot of good will with fans, and is probably closer to being the tranny sacred cow. I also think it's because Oda treats almost every character as a joke character (only exceptions that come to mind are WB, Akainu and Shanks), so if he ever goes in hard on Ivankov or even Bon Clay, it won't be seen as discriminatory of him.

Though I wouldn't be surprised to see people decrying Sanji's Newkama Island stay as very problematic, that whole thing was pretty much an egg scenario.

Apparently it does have a good fan following on Tumblr, but I've yet to look more into it until I'm fully caught up, so I'm not sure if there's been any crazy Tumblr theories/headcanons/slapfights over it outside of maybe some shipping. I remember a classmate years ago said that if it wasn't for the rampant rule 34 (particularly the ones that slip through the cracks) she'd have better enjoyment going into the tags, and that's the most I've taken away from it.

Bon Clay needs to come back, like I'm sure we haven't seen the last of him yet, and I hope his return is fabulously spectacular. My brothers have been saying they would love it if he became a Straw Hat, and I can see why. Wouldn't really know what his main role would be outside of spying on other pirates/being used a decoy, though.

That just reminds me that one of my brothers wants to cosplay as Queer Sanji one of these days because he enjoyed that moment so much. He'd probably find better acceptance in conventions than anywhere else simply because he's not being TRUE and HONEST about it.

If we want more okama in One Piece, Brook should canonically cross-dress at least once. And not just because I realized after Film: Gold that I need more cross-dressing Brook in my life.

Mad Chimera World is one of the most batshit insane things I've ever read. props to the anon on /v/ who recommended it.

I've been reading some Pokemon Adventure/Special manga. You know, the one where everyone seems to know for that Arbok being slashed.

And man, that BW ending is messed up

yeah, but it's still an harem and I cant stand when dumb bitches obsess over a shitstain for n oreason, even if it's just a comedy.

Legend of the Overfiend's got you covered.

(Also I have no fucking idea why it is the entire dub of this and the sequel is on YouTube.)
"You makai are all the same. One little sniff of pussy, and you lose it."

Holy shit this dub is terrible lol
