This is why GITS manga fans understand the story more than your breed of retards: it is part of life, why brood like a retard and not enjoying life and having happy moments, relationships and other moments of enjoyment in this sci-fi work? These moments gives lively purpose to these characters, in the manga Motoko has a boyfriend in one of the chapters, so she does have a life outside her job, but you are too retarded to see the implication of this (relationship and sex), so too bad.

Ye, but later chapters pretty much start hammering in the comedy aspect and the obnoxious amount of T&A, like I know this manga was made in the 80s and this was par for the course, but man does Masumane go overboard. Though, I guess not as overboard as MadBull34 did.

The nudity in Ghost in the Shell has always kind of been a vector to make sure people know that the characters aren't fully human physically anymore from what I understand. The Major is explored through nudity and sexual dress obviously, but there is also just nudity surrounding other no-name characters that's kind of used to show "hey this person isn't fully human anymore." Like just skimming the chapters since I do need to get back to bed, most of this isn't sexual (meaning it's trying to get you horny)

Don't get me wrong, I understand not liking how sexualized things are for it. I tried showing my fiancée the show, and she didn't like the way the major dressed because it was too sexual.



Which is ironically pretty much the same thing she wore in the second chapter of the manga.



Just because I'm an autistic bitch I went and counted, out of the 9 chapters that make up the first half of the og Ghost in the Shell manga, only like 4 of them have some form of nudity in them, though Chapter 3 is heavily censored since there's a blatant sex scene in it. The author of Ghost in the Shell, Masamune Shirow, started by writing and publishing porn pinups before he got into actual manga, but even then, outside of scantily clad women in a few chapters, outright nudity at least in the early chapters of GitS is pretty tame.

The Chapters with Nudity that I saw were 9, 7, 6, and 3. With only Chapter 3 having overt sexual nudity in the uncensored chapter, the censored chapter doesn't contain any nudity at all.

Eh, thats fair. I will admit, it was a very long time since I read the OG manga, so my memory of this thing was badly scured and I thought it had way more sex and nudity.
