Finished reading Golden Wind yesterday. Not too much to say which I haven't already mentioned when talking about the earlier parts. It's a goddamn mess. The art itself is fine, but the paneling and individual drawings gets so busy sometimes I didn't know what Araki was trying to portray. The character and stand designs didn't help in this regard either. The entire thing feels like a culmination of Arkai's worst tendencies. Story and fights are just convoluted nonsense, even though the story itself is okay. The explanation for the protagonist's existence is so dumb, no idea how nobody made a fuss about this. It's also hilarious that someone had to put Araki into the tard wrangler because I have no other explanation how he could make probably one of the most OP stands and then just drop that character like a hot potato when he realized that would throw a wrench into the entire thing. Cleary, at some point, nobody gave a shit anymore when another character just kept going for no reason other than that the entire thing would have collapsed otherwise.

Apart from the art sometimes looking great, a lot of unique noncombat Stands and that chapter before the main story kicks off, I have nothing positive to say about this. Finally, time for Stone Ocean, which is the first JoJo I have no idea about.

I dont like Golden wind much. Sure, it has some good side characters, villains and fights but other then that, it was rather weak. I honestly prefer Stone ocean over Golden Wind.
 
I hadn’t seen one punch man in years but spent them exited to see lord orochi

Now I had no problem with season 2 like elder centipede being crappy cgi but I wouldn’t dream of animating that by hand, but this time well, The fire was a fucking gif. It was also quite jarring to watching scenes play out like an experimental film.

At least as an anime viewer, Golden Wind is the worst written of the arcs so far, but god damn it has a lot of style and some really cool battles. Polnareff got done dirty though.

Didn't he just randomly fuck women without protection? Also wouldn't Dio be Jonathan's heir due to coming from his balls?

Yes because he's a Chad but he also would drink them dry once he was done. Apparently there were a few surviving women he discarded a bit early if I remember right.

Also wouldn't Dio be Jonathan's heir due to coming from his balls?

Dio's a vampire who was trying to make his adopted brother's body his own through Haman or his Stand or some other magical voodoo. Jotaro I think alluded to why it is Giorno inherited Dio's traits (which were awakened later in life) while being a technical Joestar, but it was waived away so early on. It's an actual interesting concept that Araki chose to dismiss for some reason.

Here's hoping they stop at SBR then because I don't know anyone who actually wants to see Jojolium or Jojolands animated.

EXACTLY !
DIO'S BODY WAS NEVER HIS. THIS IS A MASSIVE PLOT HOLE AND SOMEHOW NOBODY MENTIONS IT. If Giorno is INDEED DIO'S SON, then he should probably be a vampire, but if he's not, then he should look NOTHING LIKE THIS.
Besides that, while Dio is seen milling around in Part 3, he's also extensively shown murdering these very same hookers right afterwards with little care for their well being. Considering the kind of man he is, if anything he'd be VERY CAREFUL about NOT leaving heirs behind.
AND NONE OF THIS MATTERS BECAUSE BOTH GIORNO AND JOSUKE AREN'T EVEN ACKNOWLEDGED BY PART 6 ARAKI WHAT THE FUCK;

People like Jojolion, some just don't like Tooru, which is the second weakest main villain in the series, only behind Diavolo (Wonder of U is good though, too good I forgot he was Tooru's Stand and not his own character).

I haven't read Jojolands so I don't have a say on it.

Wonder if U is probably the only redeeming thing about Tooru and is probably why he just barely beats Diovolo as weakest villain. But 4 ball Josuke is probably also the weakest JoJo so far (don't really see much potential in Jodio)

It's surprisingly kinda good so far but (well, because) it doesn't feel like Jojo apart from everybody being drag queens, it's more of a chaotic magic gangster crime story thing. If nothing else I'd like to see it animated because I can't tell what the fuck is going on half the time in the action scenes.

Jojolion could be really good if they got a script doctor in to fix all the dementia in the latter half but that'll never happen.
 
Finished two volumes of Stone Ocean so far. The initial setup is good and some of the Stands are cool so far. I would like for it to be more slice of life like part 4, but I doubt that is going to happen. Not sure where the story will go and how it will end, but I am going to predict my final ranking for the series so far:

Battle Tendency -> Diamond is Unbreakable -> Stone Ocean -> Stardust Crusaders -> Golden Wind -> Phantom Blood.
 
I still think the creator of Jojo's is a closeted homo who has been using the manga as a way to draw what he likes.

He literally draws men with lipstick on.
