No, I didn't look that far into things, but since you asked I looked through her Japanese Wikipedia page, and yep, that book really is called Father Fucker. Apparently she also went through 3 marriages and had 4 kids in her 30s and 40s, one which she had out of wedlock and another she had with another man besides her husband at the time. She's also said she has more male friends than female friends, and that friendship between men and women is established by having sex. Apparently she's been told by her kids that she only dates idiots. Her daughters are a comedian and actress. Also, she gave her kids really stupid-sounding kirakira names, she named them all after the Greek alphabet (Aruha, Beeta, Guama, and Deruta).

The enumerated kid name thing isn't that weird in asian languages afaik but butchered greek is a new one. Arguably better than the not-uncommon practice of literally just numbering your offspring but I'm not Japanese so I don't know whether it sounds dumb.

Okay everyone has my permission to shit on it now. That ad break interstitial alone was so fucking embarrassing that I'm not sure whether this season is some kinda tax scam.

PS: I'm rewatching S1 and you already know what I'm gonna say but it feels like I should be reporting some sort of crime, anyway.

Damn, that's some classic damaged goods. Makes you wonder how different her life would have been if her evil mother hadn't whored her out to her stepfather... At least her kids seem like they turned out somewhat better, so that's something.

On the one hand I hope that Oda will tell everyone to fuck off.
On the other I actually like the cast of One Piece much much more then I did the cast of something like Naruto at a comparable point in the story (after the Pain arc maybe) and think ill-advised next generation reboot in One Piece could be kind of fun. Like the child that Boa rapes out of Luffy and the rest of the cast's kids fucking around and doing radical archaeology in a post-devil fruit setting with a greatly diminished World Government or something.

I think some spin-offs like the Ace and Law light novels may occur if Oda has enough material that couldn't make it into the story-proper, but I believe he's on record saying he'll be done with manga once One Piece ends.
 
One Piece is actually close-ish to ending. Unless Oda derails the story, the Strawhats should be going to Laugh Tale (the last island in the Grand Line) and claiming the One Piece in the next arc after the current one. Just 5-10 more years bro, trust me.
