Coyote Ragtime Show was the only thing I ever saw by them before they did Fate Zero. Also I'm still sad that they did a Toriko OVA and then later Toei got the license and proceeded to completely butcher the manga.

Way too boomer choice now and even not as well-known. For general shoujo currently, some villainess (akuyaku reijo) or saintess (seijo) light novel/manga will get adapted instead. Normal modern day adaptation would be manga has been around 5 - 10 years at most. Of course, more recent ones the "better". Some low-fantasy now and then if not relying on villainess and saintess premise.

The remake, Anne Shirley, just doesn't carry as much of the original. It's good on its own, but you get bored after a while. I never got this from the original, even as a casual watcher.

One Punch Man and Mob Psycho are both overrated. One hit wonders who are really just about OP characters giving a monkey dance on screen. Gives you that dopamine fix watching an asshole get perforated with a slap.
OPM is actually pretty good. It's not one of the best anime or anything but solidly good imo. MP100 has no sense of power scaling or storytelling, it's just random shit happening and it repeats the same storybeats repeatedly without going anywhere with them.
After Mob's 20th mental breakdown mid fight, that's when I lost interest. It was only episode 3.
mob psycho 100 episode 3 is the introduction of Dimple (the most important character in the show with the longest character arc) and his cult.
Which is unbelievable. There's not a soul on Earth who wouldn't value them if they had them, maybe not as much as other stuff, but the fag acted like they were a burden or useless at best.
Gohan's were used sparingly, which is partly why it worked. It was also hinting at something inside him, so it had story relevance. With Mob it's just a random thing that happens and it never built up to anything. It was a hindrance right to the end (or rather, it wasn't but Mob treated it as such).

That's because Mob wanted to be liked for who he was outside something he didn't work for, his powers were something he was born with, he never worked for them.
Technically, he could get all those with psychic powers, as shown in the manga/show, but it wouldn't feel real to him because he would get that through force with something he never worked for himself but something that was given to him (his powers).
