Oh hey, I forgot this thread existed.

Fucking loved the first season of Space Dandy, and the new season of Jojo just came out. Life is wonderful.:heart-full:

Also forgot this belongs in a different forum.

JoJo Stardust Crusadors started last Friday. I am hyped to see the opening.

Although Part 3 isn't my favourite , I can't wait to see some arcs animated.

I knoooooooooooooooooooooow, those openings are brilliant. ♥

When I first picked it up back in like '07, my brother told me to start with part 3, so I'm a little biased towards it. Of course, I can't really say I have a favorite part because I haven't really, you know, read the whole thing, but 3 has that special place in my heart.

You should totally try Part 7. You won't miss anything if you skip anything unless you want to understand some cameos and stuff. Part 7 is definitely Araki's masterpiece out of all the Jojo's. Part 8 is the weirdest.

I just can't wait for Part 5: Vento Aureo.

I watched a few episodes of Cuticle Tantei Inaba/Cuticle detective Inaba.

I have no idea what the hell I even witnessed, but I think I'll watch more of it.

I've just watched the first episode of this anime called No Game No Life.
It was written by a Brazilian (hooray, feeling proud for a fellow countryman) and it's pretty enjoyable. You guys should check it out when you get the chance. ;)

Had no idea this thread existed. Hi.
Just picked up the first 2 volumes of Attack on Titan. Even my sister (who doesn't like anime, tokusatsu or sci-fi) said that the cover was cool.

I really, really want one of those trainee coats. Not a cosplayer, but I know a good looking coat when I see one.
I'm cosplaying as Annie for Anime Next. Mainly because I won't have to do much with my appearance aside from putting my hair up.

It's Miyazaki rewriting the character to his own means. Some Lupin fans don't like it because it doesn't represent the real Lupin.

So the official ED to Stardust Crusaders is Walk Like an Egyptian. A lot of people were hoping for "Get Back" by The Beatles but who could afford that?

I'm a huge fan of One Piece, to the point where its basically just the only thing in modern fiction I care about anymore. I dunno, the story just really caught me over the years.

I heard all about the upcoming 4Kids dub in 2004 and about how awful it was going to be because it was heavily violent, and 4Kids didn't do violence. Even though the dub was getting a critical smashing from every side of the internet, something about it just kept making me want to give it chance after chance. I might have gotten through about 10 episodes of the dub, all of which were randomly chosen by whichever was episode was being rerun. The final straw came when Nico Robin debut, with her absolutely unnecessary cowgirl accent. All the voices were atrocious, in fact. Looking back, I just don't know how I could have stood them in the beginning.

Well, I'm glad I carried on, because I'll never forget that September 2007 day when I reminded myself that the new dub was debuting, and it was…. I was utterly speechless. Everyones voices were top-notch and matched.

I still read the Manga, but after the A++ quality of not only the dub of Enies Lobby, but the entire structure, I've decided this show simply needs to be seen on a television, not on a computer. So I'm just gonna leave watching everything for the dub. I have all the episodes up until Going Merry's funeral. The goal is for my children to one day experience this wonderful story, from beginning to end.

I love Nico Robin. Like, :heart-full:.

Her whole story was basically like mine, how everywhere we'd go, circumstances always arise to make us need to move again… I'll never forget when I saw her first ending credits…

All I could think of was "I share your pain…"

But anyway, the whole storytelling is just amazing, and its great how events that have taken place a long time ago, can become intertwined into the story at any given moment. Like on Enies Lobby, when Ussop had gotten the Giants to understand they've been tricked, since he had met their bosses himself, and had made them his heroes.
