I mean, black people do really like anime, I see more black people wearing anime shirts in public than whites. It's really weird Youtube just up and decided to use anime to push primarily black people when if you just made it about anime, you'd still be featuring a lot of black people anyway. They should have at least included Jaxblade and Woolie.

A lot of season finales are happening this week, what does everyone have queued up for next week?

Because it was bad or traumatic? The only thing I know about it is that trannies really like it
Because it was nothing. Everything was pointless, every plot line dropped and not expanded on, padded out to be 108 chapters on purpose. Everything that made people interested at the start is abandoned. I don't think I've read a manga that so completely changed from what it was at the start. I think a lot of the dropped plot lines was on purpose but that doesn't stop it from being deeply unsatisfying. There's no closure, everyone was horrible. It's all wasted and missed out on stuff.

Dig this manga

The title describes it all like always. Dark skin gyaru rejects guy as she secretly works as a rent a girlfriend so reject rents one to prevent embarassment, and guess who coincidentally answers the call.

And now you have learned that life is suffering, and you must let go of your attachment to your desire for satisfying manga endings. Mission accomplished.

I just took another glance at chapter 106 and realized that was the actual final chapter. Man, that felt unsatisfying. Wouldn't have even taken much more to make it at least feel a bit more conclusive. Even a few panels of Gem Phos happily chatting with the sentient rocks, finally back to her old carefree self as they head into the unknown would have made it feel less incomplete. It's like they just barely set up the happy ending twist and decide to blue-ball the readers just as it's about to happen.
The paradox of manga reading, either it gets cancelled midway ot turns into shit and ends as a disappointment. At least Golden Kamuy had a good ending.
There are a decent number that buck that trend, but certainly the ones that really stick the landing are outnumbered by series that either stall out and never conclude or run out of ideas and just wing it to mixed results at best.

This is the highest compliment I can bestow, but Dungeon Meshi reads like it was written for, if not by, Terry Pratchett.

Oh, you have a dungeon with monsters and adventurers? How does it work? Who pays? How do you get enough supplies? People will eat anything when hungry; do they eat the monsters? People will cook feasts from rotten meat and weeds; what feasts can you make with monsters?

By the way, here is a terrible pun about soup.

You want heroes to have peril, but also to live? Easy! Just have a ressurection spell. Well how does it work? What’s the point? What would people give to live forever? What would people give to die?

Here’s a dwarf whose magical shield is a wok.

And if they come back, it still hurts right? Do people remember? What happens if they forget that, outside of the dungeon, they can’t come back? What if the thing that brings them back also ties them to the dungeon more and more, changes them, makes them different without knowing why.

Whilst you were thinking about that, the halfling founded an adventurers guild. It’s an actual union with dues etc. btw he’s a deadbeat dad apart from this.

The dwarf from earlier carries familial trauma that will haunt you for the next decade. The protagonist holds his sister’s skull as the first proof that there is anything left of her. The two female leads share a love so deep that giving it a name would pollute it. The protagonist’s sword is a mollusc.

... he's been writing One Piece for over 20 years. One Piece is above the drinking age of pretty much everywhere that alcohol is allowed

I think he's taking to Toriyama's death harder than expected. I wonder if he's starting to question what One Piece, not necessarily the namesake treasure, truly means to him and everyone, and what it would take to make it as memorable and legendary as Dragon Ball, if not more.

Speaking of Gyarus...

Black Skin Shitty Gyaru: Has a shitty ending.
Lily White Yuki Gyaru: Has this
cute ass, ets.png

and after 12 weeks your Honor, the defense rests.

It's just a slightly different READ ANOTHER BOOK.

Discworld is a lot more different in tone than Dungeon Meshi, which is a lot less cynical and plays its fantasy tropes more straight. The arguments in this retarded opinion piece argue that if you have semi serious yet comedic world building it's somehow like Discworld because lol random.

Also muh lesbians.

Kui’s stuff is very melancholy, Prachitt just reminded me how Anglo’s let their best men die and the few remaining good men were either deeply religious minorities within White English society or Autists who flip flopped on shit like a fish. I don’t hate him, but he’s one of those people who aren’t as deep or impressive as his fans like to think he is. His stuff isn’t for me and too English.

Kui from her earlier work did a brief story on how accepting refugees can in the span of two generations turn into resentment.

Does anyone have any recommendations for (relatively) normal magical girl Manga? Having just finished watching Madoka Magica and reading Gushing over Magica Girls, I want to read something not with the dark twist to it.

Cardcaptor Sakura

I was looking for a slice of life style magical girls anime but it doesn't seem like one has been made.

Why do I feel like this person is only know about DunMeshi through fandom wiki or TvTropes or a severed case of speed reading - watching. Worse, guilty for all of these things.
Does this person never experience in concept of soul in fiction - fantasy before? Kui does explain on concept of souls and how this specifc dungeon does to soul. Also, Marcille specialty is in dark magic and necromancy.

Every question in there is retard, and all information is clearly explain and expand upon. The dungeon is old and already heavily explored on upper levels. There are people actually settle down in these levels, dwarves and shady people. Adventures can go to rest and trade there. There is the lord of Island supposedly govern island and even old Gnome Mr Tansu requesting the lord for more funds to adventures. Adventures will get paid for dealing with monster problem, or dealing with orcs. Finding treasure or any useful stuffs, those can be traded on the surface.
I don't think you need to like knowing about DnD and dungeon crawling video games to know about these, no?

Yes, please calling Chillchuck some loser becasuse he like to keep family and works separate, all pain and death he endures that he want to keep to himself rather than emotional dumb on to his family. But nooo, his ex-wife takes daughter and leaves him, he's totally a deadbeat dad. So much of deadbeat dad that he understands his daughters personality and actually afraids of Senshin attractiveness.

Ah yes better, girls physically touching each other and taking bath with each other in a Japanese works. They are sooooo sapphic gurls. Meanwhile, the succubus chapter has her ideal type.
