Marchi is not a localizer first, she is a gatekeeper and her and her kind have been trying to get rid of actual fluent workers for some time. Funimation use to have brilliant staff that could both translate and localize, where it was both respectful to the source but not sound alien to the American fans. The problem, these brilliant staffers were not Chris Sabot and most of these staffers were/are Christian. To Marchi, AI is a godsend because she can do her localization hatchet job without more talented coworkers around her.

Good. More publishers and studios need to know about the insanity that's been happening here, especially from FUNimation/Crunchyroll so they can then tell them to fuck off and look elsewhere, or pull out of the American market.

Get your physical media of pre-2010 anime while you can, you're gonna need them.

What's a good manga reader for windows? I use Tachiyomi on my android and found Tachidesk after looking for desktop options. It's more or less the same, except you run a server and a frontend UI (or something like that). The main thing that bothers me is that I can't zoom out, the only way is to make the window smaller. I can deal with that, but wanted to know if there were better options to choose from.

What I want:
-Library to help me remember what I'm reading
-Search function that works across multiple websites at once
(Tachidesk has both of these.)

it's really quite insane how retarded censorship has infected translations of all things
you know, that thing that can't be censored so you can properly understand?
like, what the fuck

So I heard, which is good news for anime / manga fans that wanted good English dubs instead of woke trash from woke localizers like Jamie Marchi. Maybe now Japan will be more aware of the problem and use AI to translate and save money. Better than throwing away money to woke localizing activists.

Which version of a silent voice is good the film or the manga ive wanted to check it out but dont which one to check first.

Started the first episode of "Gushing Over Magical Girls" and got to the first transformation sequence and... I'm not sure if I should be watching this? it's very ecchi

Nevermind, her magical weapon is a BDSM riding crop so i got my answer.

Yeah, for some reason the PV didn't prepare me for it, I thought it was gonna be more subtly degenerate then that.
The teenage girls in their underwear didn't distract me from the cameo by Pop Team Epic though.

Took advantage of a campaign sale where several volumes were priced at 11 yen a piece.
I remember reading scans of Ajin a while back then, Satou was a pretty fun antagonist. I also appreciated the goon characters not being brain-dead which is a rather uncommon thing in fictional settings dealing with the supernatural.
