Jujutsu Kaisen sperging, I dislike anime but this has become a guilty pleasure:

So apparently Gojo is dead. He "won the fight against Sukuna" but he died soon after. Also, Sukuna is "the king of the curses" so he is very very very strong, so strong in fact he can cut through space and time. It's just as retarded as it sounds.

Gojo might not be "dead dead", but what I noticed about terrible Japanese writing, specially in shonen shit, is that the NEET comic artists can never find somewhat reasonable explanations for killing off a powerful character. It's always "this dude is STRONGER than the strongest, that's why he lost". Kind of like autistic wrestling writing where the normal or fairly strong dude will always get squashed by the meat head, and so on.

There's never any room for creativity or nuanced, they have to get the next issue asap. Which btw, it seems like Geje "forgot" to write the chapter showing Sukuna owning Gojo. Which is why "the death is coming off wrong" That was in a shitty article, there's other ones "reporting" that Geje is getting "death threats", so take it with a grain of salt.
The entire fight was such a goddamn mess. Full of a bunch of playground fight logic and retarded hand-to-hand combat that added absolutely nothing. The only good thing that came out of it was Gojo finally fucking dying.
A lot of explanations why things are the way they are are basically "because bloodlines and shit".
Cursed energy can do literally anything. It's retarded.
The story could've started wrapping up with this chapter if Gojo had legit won, but nope. It has to stall for another 30 chapters and pull more bullshit out thin air to justify how the B-Team will manage to defeat the Strongestest™ foe that beat the Strongest™ good guy.
I'm willing to forgive the entire story's utter mediocrity if Sukuna actually wins in the end. I like that douchebag. He doesn't pretend like he does anything good for anyone or serves a purpose like Gojo did. All he wants is to eat and kill people.

Sales don't really translate into lasting appeal, modern pop culture is filled with shit that broke sales records but disappeared from collective consciousness a minute later (Game of Thrones and Lost are the best examples). With Demon Slayer the start was great but each season became weaker and weaker, plus if it has generic shonen end then there isn't really any continuation possible.
There is no sign at all that Demon Slayer has lost its appeal with its fans, and it didn't completely stumble into its ending like a blind drunk like Bleach or Attack on Titan did. Trying to pretend otherwise is just cope. It had a strong story and it had a strong ending that neatly wrapped everything up.

Undead Girl Murder Farce last arc is one of the weirdest things I've seen. A tranny nigger appears as a villain, and the heroes ignore the fact they are about to cause a genocide and don't even attempt to help.

In the end time will tell.

Kind of, one thing to note is when the first season ended and the anime boost really kicked off, KNY was just ending the swordsmith village arc in the manga (i.e almost the exact place where season 3 ended funny enough).
So anime watchers who picked up the series on the back of the first arcs ran straight first into these weaker arcs and if it was a normal FOTM seasonal adaptation there should of been a massive drop in sales after the anime hype died and said anime watchers realize the anime only coved the good bits and moved on to the next hot seasonal manga adaptation. Recent examples of this is actually JJK, and AoT although you can find plenty of series that like this if you go all the way back

And then there's KNY which somehow (probably to japs eternal shit taste) kept climbing to the point where the final volume sold almost 5 million copies in japan in its first 5 weeks

Granted I know this isn't that fair of an comparison since KnY ended sooner than most series when it got its anime, but there was a good 6 months between the last chapter showing in WSJ and the final volume going on sale so japs had plenty of time to decide if it was worth buying or not, and iirc its sold another 30 million in japan since it wrapped up (I remember lurking in sales threads and seeing salesfags where using it to dunk on serval manga for selling less than a "zombie series" for well over a year).

Hell I'm pretty sure by the the time they finally adapt the ending, the manga will already have been over for a good 5 or 6 years by then (it ended May 2020), so imo it'll kinda be a stretch to still call it a recent series at that point.

Demon Slayer's manga ending was a rushed disappointment. If the anime doesn't vastly flesh out the last few arcs I can definitely see its popularity quickly fading after it's finished.

I do agree the ending wasn't the best but I have doubts it'll get much of a reaction since like I said japs had 6 months the process that rushed ending and the final volume and still went out in droves to buy it, and I know they won't be kind to series where they hate the ending case I recall a bunch of people burning copies of Bleach over the ending (although that might of been shipfags tbh).

And it'll probably be another 2 or 3 years before the anime covers the final, and something that I noticed is japs really care less about spoiling stuff then your average /a/fag or ani twitter tard. I've seen a good amount of figures and merch (not just from KnY mind you) that cover characters who up till now have only been in a scene or two and a few forms that haven't been revealed yet. So there's a good chance everyone and their mother is gonna know how it ends well before it actually is animated.

"I got married! The foods journaled in my 'cooking diary' for the past three years were actually made by my husband. I would like to continue drawing fun manga fueled by my husband's cooking."

I read a tweet thread where someone tried to contact the Taliban to go after geje.

But honestly not surprising with the top series of Shonen Jump delivering shit final arcs that people are competing who'd be worse/better between Horikoshi and gege
I think it would be hard to top Isayama's ending.

Studio Khara's latest anime is going to be Ochibi-san, an adaptation of Moyoco Anno's manga. I'm pretty excited for it; it sounds like it's going to be a nice, sweet anime for the whole family, which is exactly my cup of tea.

Yeah the reaction Isayama's ending can't really be topped but in terms of being absolute dogshit, it would be easy too.
Can't say I agree that it would be easy to make a worse ending unless you were actually trying, and even then, I feel like it would take some effort. The ending basically rendered the story pointless aside from crippling the world.

It's already becoming meme material in other manga kek.

Personally in terms of an actual ending, Platinum End is like way worse than AOT's by a wide margin. Hell I don't think nothing can top Platinum End for how dogshit it's ending is.

It had a story that knew what it was and stayed within its limits. The Hero is called to fight the Bad Guys, and fights the Bad Guys along with other Heroes. Some Bad Guys are revealed to be vaguely sympathetic and some Heroes are killed before they ultimately beat all the Bad Guys and the survivors live happily ever after. It's a simple show supplemented with good visuals and serviceable characters that knew when to wrap things up.
I don't think it's going to be an enduring classic but it makes sense that it was successful, especially with Ufotable going all out on the visceral aspect.

Actually, you might have a point there. In the AoT thread one of the ways I suggested to make the ending worse was to rip off the Platinum End ending. At least with that anime, it didn't last for over a decade and ended with a final season stretched out to a ridiculous level of subdivisions.

Ooh horror/romance, I'm curious, too. Only one I'm aware of as such is Elfen Lied but lol.
