They even censored chinese heroic figures, some like qin shi huang became ruler 564 for example, really funny.

But of course americans had to censor it too:

Tried to get into Fgo a few times over the years.
I am not waiting years before management decides its time to press a button and make a years old unit available that I could probably recreate some iteration of myself or find ripped on spritersresource in the time it took to wait.

Would be nice to have more elegant characters in anime like Arceuid instead of "BIG ANIME BOOBIES WHOAAAA" and glorified daycare character dynamics.

Not knowing anything about that character, the hood addition actually looks cool.

But also the Chinese are still very superstitious when it comes to depictions of skeletons and ghosts, so it's whatever. The girls are still scantily-clad despite their attempt to cover up more skin so their men stop being horny, which is pretty lulzy.

The problem is that the hood covers the skull mask in the second and third stages, they never bothered to censor the third stage too, so they always could see the skull. It really doesn't make sense

You can make a 'good guy vs bad guy' story that is enjoyable and has high re-watch value, like sCRYed, or you can be Ubukata Tow and turn whatever concept you're given into schlock which will be forgotten as soon as its run is over.

AKAIK those were all done by the Chinese and Korean localizers. This is the first time that localizers got Japanese staff involved, in this case recording Japanese dialogue that will never be heard by a Japanese audience. It's frankly unprecedented. It's like if they had gotten Brock's Japanese actor to record a line about jelly filled donuts while holding onigiri.
 
Watched Zom 100 after hearing all the hype about it, checked out after 6 episodes. It's like if r/antiwork decided to make an anime. Not just because of the message, but because of the way it keeps slapping you over the head with it like you're a lobotomized retard.

In general, I'm going to be extremely wary of series that are middling in Japan and suddenly blow up thanks solely to the foreign market. 20 years ago that was a sign a manga/anime was top-tier, now that (along with Crunchyroll/Viz Media showing up on the production committee) seems to be the surest-fire sign that it's gonna suck.
 
Zom 100 was interesting at first, but when it went to the cringe dimension with the impromptu drinking party with the Air Attendants I checked out.

Bit of a late bump but the thing that didn't get me wasn't the changed dialouge, it was the FUCKING FACT THAT DISNEY+ SOMEHOW HAS THIS SHOW!? Guess their tendrils have expanded even further than I thought.

This is how I feel about Lycoris Recoil and the new Gundam lately as I feel they have been astroturfed by shitty western zoomers due in to no part because of yuri shipping. God knows how many anime movies I've watched that suddenly became the talk-of-the-town when once viewing, turns out to be shit.

That's more for the Japanese. There have been a lot of series focusing on how shitty it is being a wage slave office worker and how exploitive those companies can be.

Lycoris was fine, but the shippers for that series made no sense since the only gay characters in it were the black dude and the evil white dude.
