What part of this was enjoyable, other than the music? It was such a low-effort show for literal children. Ubukata is a shit-tier writer, who keeps on getting new work regardless of his lack of talent, likely due to industry connections (also the reason why him beating his wife didn't end his career).
I liked its sense of scope; battles between full interplanetary civilizations fielding tens of thousands of ships, each with crews of thousands. That's not something you see very often.

Got around to reading some of the Tsukihime remake. It’s pretty good for a VN so far and doesn’t take 50 hours just to explain the fucking setting like ryukishi does with his schizophrenic rants. Neco arc is better than ever but don't care much for the random instagibs around every corner that really ruin the pacing.

It really should have gotten an open world persona 3 clone adaptation instead with how long it took to develop and how much they love to sperg about OP anime bullshit. Could even add the sequels and fandiscs into it as DLC.

Dude what? Dead end in VNs are amazing, and wanting in to emulate Persona of all things, probably the most vanilla jrpg ever.

Dude talks like it is easy to adapt a whole kind of story into another and without any knowledge about what is happening with other works at the same time. TYPE-MOON is a small creator and a busy one.

This is the size of a single FGO chapter done by Nasu (only the story part had 34 hours without the battles) it is a complete game by itself. (Most fgo story nowadays have 10-12 hours)

Fgo script size is nowadays bigger than any previously TM game ever made. It is massive, and it is a collaborative effort, of course but still it takes lots of time.

The only reason why fate/samurai remnant was able to be created was that it was done by another team and only consulted by Type-moon.

The only problem of tsukihime remake was to announce it early (2008), I guess they got it right with samurai remnant by only announcing when it was closer to the release date instead of announcing and nothing to come out of it. (See extra record)

And of course: tsukihime remake isnt the same as the old tsukihime. It was rewritten, so it isn't a matter of just changing the sprites (which I guess some russian group ended up doing, making a new version of tsukihime with the new sprites)

This sounds...weird but how are you supposed to read mangas i know that you should read from right to left but ive heard that depending on the genre some mangas tend to be more fast paced where youre supposed to read and see through the drawings fast while more slower paced stuff tends to focus more on the drawings and reading them slowly any help.

Things like the infamous gamergate line in Prison School was something added to the English dub. People were able to verify it because a) the Japanese dialogue clearly didnt mention it and b) the subtitles were accurately translated and had no mention of gamergate.

What's notable about this recent example is that the change already happened on the Japanese side. The international version of Bleach has accurate subtitles because the international version has literally different dialogue performed by the Japanese actors. Meaning that someone along the chain of custody told the Japanese producers to record alternate versions of the dialogue for international markets. Translators can't be blamed here because they don't touch Japanese scripts that Japanese actors read.

When American TV networks still aired anime, dubbing companies would at many times record alternate dialogue to appease TV network standards. But AFAIK this is the first time it's done by the Japanese simply to appease international markets.
Its not the first time at all

Chinese censorship on their streaming

Even american comic publishers would put clothes in niche european comics because if there is nudity they must put a 18+ tag and not be able to sell in some places.

I hate censorship, but I can understand some cases, now this bleach case... wasnt disney plus the service where they made star plus to put more adult stuff rather than sully their clean image?

Can't say for Spy x Family, both Higurashi and Chainsawman are edited version as meme. People keep spreading around images like they are real.

>friend of mine reads that one manga about the lesbian fuck up
>tells me that she got molested and basically normal relationships weird her out due to obvious fucking trauma that she never dealt
>wrote an entire fucking sequel about her alcoholism and dealing with airing to the world that she is attracted to her mother

Every fucking lesbian really is the same.

It really just needs a good dick to fix.

Both Chainsawman and Higurashi aren't allowed to be aired on mainland China for Bilibili, you can watch them in Hong Kong, Macau and Taiwan.

For Spy X Family, for non "Ching chong plays ping pong with King Kong" speakers.
Technically a prank were being used around making fun of China censorship on Weibo and Facebook. Twitters take it as serious.
Because during that time June, image being spread around, that Spy X Family ep 8 wasn't even aired on mainland China side.

Version aired on China later on is uncensored.

The same website for Higurashi, three different variants of "censorship".
