Autistically, I kinda hate the term "isekai." maybe this is just a western fandom thing but it feels like they're trying to claim this kind of story is a whole new thing when stories about people being transported to other worlds have been being done since the Bible. Chronicles of Narnia, John Carter of Mars, Andre Norton's Witch World are all basically isekai when you get right down to it.
At the same time it also feels like applying a label is also forcing a certain set of expectations on the genre. Like I've heard about "Truck-kun." Okay, so is Magic Knight Rayearth an isekai, or does it not count because the girls don't die, they just get magically summoned to another world? How about the third episode (and only the third episode) of Devil Hunter Yohko? What about that one Tenchi Muyo movie where that girl creates a world where she and Tenchi lead a perfect life together but Tenchi keeps having flashes of realization and remembering Ryoko?

Hey, speaking of being transported to other worlds... how exactly does one create a torrent and upload it to torrent sites? Also is anyone but me having issues with nyaa and solidtorrents right now? Because neither is letting me create an account (or in nyaa's case, log in to my existing one).
Not gonna say what, exactly, I planned to upload for obvious reasons.... but its an anime whose DVD sets are out of print, there's no re-release, and the final volume was so rare it was thought to be vaporware. Also its a classic mecha anime.
