They have to wait with the incal movie till everyone involved with zje comic is dead. Jodorowski is not only a great artist and film maker, he is also very very crazy.
Jodorowski caused a ruckus when he claimed that he raped a woman on the set of El Topo, but then again he's an insane chilean jew that also said he raped Frank Herbert. Arrow Video put out his films and did a podcast with the hosts damning him while trying to promote the films.
Bojji is back. The new Ranking of Kings season has begun to air. Hopefully the story doesn't go to shit.
I thought this was a singular OVA, but that's good if it's a new season. It can't get as bad as the copout ending the first season had. The first episode was a side story that takes place when Bojji was training with Despa.

Darn I think you're right that this is just an OVA.

I've recently started reading Jumbo Max and so far it's been pretty funny and entertaining. It's kinda like Breaking Bad, but instead of meth, it's boner pills.

I watched the new Shinkai film, Suzume, and it was a pretty good movie. It’s a bit hit or Miss in the first half but gets much better in the second half of the film.

Has anyone here read Shamo by Izo Hashimoto? It’s an about a teenager who murders his mom and dad and goes to prison where he learns martial arts. There’s almost nothing sympathetic about the main character which is pretty unique for a manga. (At least the ones I’ve read). It is aggressively fucked up though, verging on misery porn.

doesn't he get fucked up the ass in the first chapter
i lost interest quickly and heard it repeats the same plot after the prison

Yeah, he gets prison raped and then bites a dude’s dick off.
I’ve only read the first volume so I don’t know if it repeats but it went on for an astounding 34 volumes so it probably does.

I wonder with reboots such as Fruits Basket, Urusei Yatsura, Trigun and Rurouni Kenshin and to a lesser extent with the upcoming movie of the Starlights Sailormoon, would they try to make reboot Negima and make it faithful to the manga?
Especially since it is inspired by Harry Potter and there's a reboot of it coming?

I did. Things get really fucked up before they start mellowing out.
Then as soon as things start to get better near the end and the main character finds a redemption of sorts and a family of sort he fucking dies lol

Saw Suzume a couple days ago. I enjoyed it but it felt like a generic Shinkai movie, not only a rehash of the Your Name formula but also derivative of his earlier movies too. I hope his next movie is a little more original. Also feels a little rougher, as if there were rewrites and plotpoints from earlier incarnations of the script made it into the final product unaltered and are incongrous with the rest of the narrative. Recommended. English dub was good.

While the animation for The Dangers in My Heart isn't great, the lovely soundtrack and the anime original addition of Yamada keeping the drawing Ichikawa made of her in her wallet makes watching it really worth it.
It'll be nice if they keep stuff like that, plus it'll be interesting to see if they add in some of the volume/twitter extras.

Also the Megumin spin off is great. Normally I don't care much for cgdct at magic school because it's just not usually that interesting, but this one is a real hoot.

I really enjoy it, Megumin's village manage to keep the Chunbyuu joke running by how they all take it super seriously and how they are actually as strong as they claim.

Another good surprise is The Legendary Hero Is Dead, at least for now it reminds me of Konosuba in having a jerk protagonist who is witty enough to survive what's thrown at him. Also Mashle reminds me a bit of Mob in OP deadpan protagonist.

Didn't Negima turn from a basic harem into a battle shonen after a while?
I last read it when I was like 13 and it was still running but I never ended up finishing it

I liked it but the china arc is pointless and the retard bros arc sucked balls.
