I can't get over zoomer Vash who looks like he's bussin, no cap, fr fr, fam.

Plus I'm one of those people that don't like CG anime, all the way back to the days of the Appleseed movie it just doesn't grab me.

Trigun in general is kind of a weird case for me because I felt so emotionally satisfied by the original TV series' finale (it's one of the best final episodes I've seen) I've never had a desire for more despite some hanging plot threads, never worked up the interest to read the original manga or even seen the 2010 movie, it felt like a story that was told good enough for me.

Basically felt like they took cliff notes and somehow decided to jam them into one story. Character stuff feels way too rushed, it feels like there isn't a single quiet moment, some of the character changes are just odd (and that's being nice about it) and the CGI really feels like Orange just wants to flex their skills.

As fer as CGI animations go, it looks really smooth. I don't really like the new character design, but it isn't the most egregious one I've seen, except for the big ass robot arm. I'll have to keep watching cause it looks like they revamped the story line so that could be fun. More thorough opinion to come.

whats everyone's watch list for spring? For me so far it's
Konosuba
Witch of Mercury
Tokyo Mew Mew
Edens Zero
With one piece and precure continuing
Kind of low in terms of watching, might catch up if nothing else catches my interest, hopefully/a/ has good recommendations

Kimi Ga Houkago Insomnia
Oshi no Ko
Tengoku Dasimakyou and
Skip and Loafer
are probably the only ones I'm going to be vaguely interested in this season. I was going to see My Home Hero but the PV makes the anime look cheap and shit, I'll just stick to the manga. I'm mainly sticking to finishing older series such as the Aria anime (fantastic OST btw), Ginga Tetsudo 999, and BECK which I'm not sure if I should keep watching subbed or get to the dub.

Does Fire Force anime have an ending? I stopped watching because I thought it will never conclude like most shonen
Anime, no. Manga is done a while ago. It's why the author does character design for an original anime, KamiErabi GOD.app, written by Yoko Taro.
CGI anime, director is Hiroyuki Seshita, so I assume his studio (Polygon Pictures) will handle this one as well. CGI anime have been done by this studio are Ajin, Blame!, Knights of Sidonia, and this season Kaina of the Great Snow Sea (Ooyukiumi).

Smartphone Isekai season 2 is the only thing I'm planning on watching at the moment, currently rewatching the first. I'm hoping it's as bad as the first season and not just bland but passable since it'll lose all its charm that way.

I'll probably watch Konosuba at some point though not having the full team sounds like a bummer. I might just focus on finishing the LNs of the main series instead

Dr Stone is another probably but I need to catch up on the second season

I enjoyed S1 of Demon Slayer so maybe I'll get caught up on that. Do I need to watch the movie or does S2 recap it well enough? Or should I watch the movie and then skip the recap?

Just Witch from Mercury Season 2, Tousouchuu: Great Mission (I might not watch this if it's too bland, and I'm worried it may be from the trailer), and the Tenchi Muyou GXP: Paradise Shidou-hen OVA for me. I'll also watch the new FLCL sequels whenever they air. I mostly want to finish older series like Immortal Grand Prix, Gundam SEED, Patlabor, Haibane Renmei, the Captain Harlock sequels/spinoffs, Sakura Wars 2000, and Giant Gorg.

I kinda wanted to post this in the Pikamee tragedy thread, but I feel like it suits here better. Apparently MangaDex mods removed the 21st chapter, of a hentai with meme translations known as Valhalla Penis Mansion, when it called out the dilating troons on Twitter. You can still find the chapter on aggregator sites like Manga Kakalot. Hell, that's where I found the supposedly "offensive" pictures below.

Valhalla Penis Mansion - Vol.3 Chapter 21_ Real Men Love Girls, Not Change Gender - 5.jpg
Valhalla Penis Mansion - Vol.3 Chapter 21_ Real Men Love Girls, Not Change Gender - 7.jpg
Here's the credit page which probably dilates the jannies.

Now, if this alone was not bad enough as it is. The comment section of the 22nd chapter is calling this out, while being suppressed by the tranny jannies, who are so nitpicky with their comments, that their banning reasons almost look more like Reset Era instead of Manga Dex. All this on top of woke redditors. One more thing, you can still go to the comment section of the 21st chapter.

I'd like to include before going on that the scanlator is Indonesian, he just considers all troonism westoid mental illness

One thing I found from there is that they do have a "anti-politics policy" which led to the likes of
Rule 3.2.7.1 of the chapter release guidelines:

"Extraneous pages containing political content (such as agendas, propaganda, or commentary), race-baiting, or content that can reasonably be construed as offensive may be removed by MangaDex staff. They are also subject to the same standards as listed out in the rules for Conduct and Comments." From the MangaDex rules of conduct

What this also explains/doesn't explain is why does the 16th chapter of the manga "Wakamono no Kuro Mahou Hanare ga Shinkoku desu ga, Shuushoku shite Mitara Taiguu Iishi, Shachou mo Tsukaima mo Kawaikute Saikou desu!" (or "Though young people recoil from entering the black magic industry, I found its treatment of employees quite good when I entered it, and the president and familiar are cute too so everything is awesome!") have this in their credit page.
Wakamono no Kuro Mahou Hanare ga Shinkoku desu ga, Shuushoku shite Mitara Taiguu Iishi, Shacho...png
To make matters worse in this case, this is 2 pages of politisperging on Discord, while the removal here is 1 page meme. Mind you, the manga this is in is a SoL tiddy manga, which unlike Valhalla Penis Mansion, which has some nuance in it's jokes (the mangaka actually knows the meme translations, he adapted the manga to it a bit), this manga had outdated memes (in 2019) at the cost of cutting out dialogue.

Some damage control was done later cause one of the jannies whose work is literally PR talked about how Koolio (the guy behind this discord sperging) & another guy known as Rapeman were the reasons the anti-politics policy was made.

TL;DR - Manga Dex is run by redditors, wokies, & troons.

The new seiyuu for Love Live! Nijigasaki's Setsuna Yuki has been revealed, Coco Hayashi will be taking over the role, following Tomori Kusunoki stepping down from the role:

She has done work with the series before, voicing a minor character in the Love Live! Sunshine!! movie.

It wasn't nearly as bad as I expected. The characters didn't have much room to breathe because of how fast paced everything was, but the CGI was very fluid and the expressions were well done. The finale was pretty solid all around; it's nice to know that they are going to be including Milly after all, and that season 1 was basically a prequel. Curious to see how they adapt the rest of the story.

Don't think anyone else here really cares about Yowamushi Pedal, but god damn the last 2 seasons have been a downgrade.
Putting aside that they ended up repeating the last day beat for beat they managed to drag out the 2nd inter-high race so it overall covered less chapters per episode then the 1st while skipping over a few entire chapters and side characters so they could focus on the Shokou v Hakone (and Midousuji) rivalry again.

Assuming it gets another season there should be a small break from this since Onodo gets into mountain biking and races for a full arc after befriending a MTB'er who in turn gets into road biking and will be part of 4th team to at least vary up the 3rd inter-high
But that brings up a small bone to pick I have with the manga, specifically the only scanlation group working on it being dicks who kind of try to force people to read translation as a script on their tumblr blog.

(This reminds me, one of these days I need to get around to watching the Rebuild movies, though what keeps me off is I recall them having confusing numbering where I'm not sure which one is the last one... I believe I asked about it on this forum before tho)
Uhhhh it's literally just 1, 2, 3 and 4 lol
The third rebuild isn't very good. The fourth one ties everything up with a nice bow. I thought they were fine.

@Xenomorphs Are Cute I have posted about Plykiya in another thread:

I honestly don't think he's just another Redditor. He's definitely weirder than that. Dude has a shotacon fetish too.

Oh shit! The dude has an OnlyFans account: https://coomer.party/onlyfans/user/plykiya

Don't watch them if you don't want to be scarred for life.
No wonder the janny dilated. It's a tranny itself.

Edit: I was laughing at first, but his OP actually makes me angry, seething even. That troon is more ripped than I am.

I used to be into it and watched the anime as far as New generation but when manga spoilers came out about the result of the second inter-high it just turned me off so much that I ended up losing interest.

These are more "three episode test" than watching the whole season since I'll probably drop most, but:

Konosuba spinoff
Kimetsu no Yaiba
Mashle
Kuma Bear Punch
Mahou Shoujo Magical Destroyers
Dead Mount Death Play
Kaminami Sekai no Kamisama Katsudou
Rokudou no Onna-Tachi
Jigokuraku
Tengoku Daimakyou
The Marginal Service (can't find much about it though)

Also is it just me, or are furry anime becoming more common? We've had more than a few in recent years, and have another one coming up with Niehime to Kemono no Ou.
