Jigokuraku, I read the manga years ago so I'd figure I'd check the anime for fun

Tengoku Daimakyou, I sort of dropped it a good while ago and figured giving it another try with the anime.
I'm also going to check out Marginal Service and Magical Girl Destroyers to see if they're any good.
 
Just found an interesting little fantasy manga that might have some potential.
Series is called "re CERVIN" and there's only about 18 chapters out (11 translated) out but it actually has some pretty good art and monster designs I haven't seen in awhile.

I'm not too familiar with the author so I don't know if it might jump the shark, but the story so far is pretty simple a father daughter pair try to kill a dragon that's squatting on their kingdom and probably get revenge on the man who summoned the dragon and who directly killed the girls mother.
The only things I can nitpick is that the girl has no memories of the father (has something to with a spell that steals one precious memory evetime its used) and she apparently has some power from this worlds gods that haven't been explained yet.

I've been rewatching Yu Yu Hagusho lately. I used to watch it on adult swim back in the early and mid 2000s before I went to bed for school. I'm only on season 1 now but I'm really loving it. The first episode actually almost got me teary eyed. Kuwabara refusing to believe Yusuke is dead is my favorite part.


It also has a great intro and credits.


 
Felt like watching the original Gundam, and realized how fucking hard it is to find a torrent of the original series, given that just about every other Gundam series also has “Mobile Suit Gundam” in the title. Also doesn’t help that all the top torrents right now are just individual episodes of the new series.

Suzuki Toshio, co-founder, former general manager of Studio Ghibli has resigned from his position in March and will leave the studio June this year. Miyazaki, another co-founder, refuses to comment on this.

He almost bankrupted the studio when he was the general manager. He was alledgedly "too obsessed with" his Thai mistress named "カンヤダ" (read: kanyada) who is a single mom. He was accused by sources to have helped the Thai single mother financially by building her a restaurant and a spa. Both of which is gone out of business. At first he used the money out of his pocket but later the problem also involves the studio.

In 2018, he gave her a restaurant and let her manage it. The restaurant closed within a year.

In 2020, he hired her as a photographer even though she had no prior experience.

Employees at the studio had to organize events for the Thai woman to work using the studio's funds to cover lodging and travel costs. A source who works at the studio told.

An editor of a publishing company was requested to hire her as a photographer and exhibit her onsen photographs in Iwate prefecture. Employees at the studio suspect she only wanted to travel.

Suzuki's work motto is "Mixing Work with Pleasure" which started out as using his own passion to drive his work but ends up almost destroying his own company.

We can only guess how will this incident affects Studio Ghibli's upcoming release "How Do You Live?"

Usually I'd just say "Women ☕" & "simp". Hell, he is a massive simp & the whole business just feels like a Woman moment, but she ain't half bad (shit now I'm simping), the Horny Ojisan scored, & sadly devolved into simping.
 
Picked some dragon ball volumes to read and it is really funny how fast it takes to read and how direct the story is. I remember watching the freeza arc of the old Z anime and holy shit what a glacial pace it was.

The volumes I picked up were the saiyajin arc and right now I am at freeza arc, feels weird not reading the early db, may even at least read android and cell arcs since I dont remember those

Usually helps to sort by size in cases like this.

nyaa.si has a BD Remux of the original series, if best quality is what you're looking for.
 
Though it's Korean and not Japanese animation, Lookism on Netflix is really good. It's kind of a wholesome, high school fighting shonen.

Campfire cooking isekai show just finished up. That along with Kaina are perhaps the two best ones of the winter season.
