I just wrapped up the second season. It's still a great show but kinda falls apart. Season 1 will remain the best. All the stories with March, Gugu, the big bear impacted pretty hard.
The Entire second season was about Renril, and that was my only problem.

The first three arcs were pretty good but the nokkers were a mistake imo.

Fushi needed a vehicle to challenge his immortality.

Probably would have watched the full series if this happened.

I can't believe people don't discuss to your eternity more. It's amazing.
The problem with the show is that after the first arcs it becomes way too padded and the emotional scenes hit a lot less. Fushi gets annoying in being emo "I don't want to meet anyone" (though him going the opposite end where he doesn't care about death is pretty good) and the extra cast stays way too long. For now it's just seeing all the weird shit that happens as Fushi turns into a demi god.

As someone who saw 52 episodes of the reboot, it sucked ass. Like, not in a HxH 1999 vs 2011 anime tier of mixed either, just plain bad. I don't even wanna imagine how bad this'll be.
I'm not surprised the reboot sucked, if you read the manga it was some terrible arse shit. Specially when they tried to forgive the badguy all because "he dun have no friends"

Holy shit 52 episodes? There's not justice in this world. I thought it will be like two seasons because the start felt incredibly rushed.

Speaking of fun things and anime boobs, 100 Girlfriends finally got officially announced. The character designs are looking pretty good.

My apologies for being incredibly late to this, but while it‘s about time that this gets an anime adaptation, I am both optimistic and concerned how this will play out.

With something like 100 Girlfriends on the screen, this will need to get more than two seasons at least for Rentarou’s character to exist. I can only imagine what the first three episodes will be like for this one.

The last few chapters of Nagatoro have been on a tear.
I can't express how nice it is to see a romance manga eschew the usual tropes. Even when the male lead is a fucking idiot it's not as contrived as what I'm used to. The friends are on-board with the relationship instead of meddling bastards, they'll even run interference to let the kids actually talk to each other, nobody nurses a grudge for six chapters because of hamfisted melodrama, etc.
This show better get a third season, because the best content is forthcoming.

I actually thought it would have 2 cours myself, cause it went on break for a month. But I think it was due to the Toei leak or something cause Dragon Quest anime also went on break around the same time.
Guess I'll just stick to the 2001 anime on top of the manga.
I haven't seen it all, but the little bits I've seen are way cooler than the remake. Tho I do remember that it's incomplete, has some filler, & lots of non-canon shit.

DBS Broly single-handedly made me change my mind on DBS as a whole. Yes, DBS was kinda shit, but DBS Broly is legitimately some peak DB material. It made me remember what I really liked about the Dragon Ball franchise. The animators had a lot of fun experimenting and showing off in every scene. I'm not sure we'll get something as good as this again in the future of this series.
I'm cautiously optimistic because I think DBS has steadily been getting better. BoG and Resurrection F were meh, and there's been some terrible filler, but the universe 6 and "Future" Trunks arcs were pretty good, and Universe Survival arc and Broly were outstanding. I wasn't a fan of Super Hero, but other people seem to like it. But whatever happens, at least we got some high points and that's more than I can say for any other current year reboot. This might be the first reboot I've seen in awhile with content that is actually on par or better than the original.

Nevermind the fact that the main bad guy gets stopped through the power of his mom scolding him. Shaman King is propped up by nostalgia more than being a great manga.
