I kinda wonder if Funi's just trying to wight their options with Super. I mean the show's first half is a rehash of the films, but with much worse animation (especially for television animation, and for Toei's own standards).
So I can see why they haven't licensed the show yet. Seeing as the films were released out in North America the past two years now.

With Super, it's one of those Toei examples of if it's a good episode, it's pretty damn good, and if it's a bad episode, it's pretty shitty. Super has its ups and downs but even then it wouldn't be hard at all to capitalize on its popularity. Especially with the Universe 6 tournament where things are starting to get interesting.
I find Mika is... he's already seen hell. He knows what's combat's like and has matured before the series even began. He may be a mad dog at times, but some of the things he says would be in-line with what a protag would say towards the end of their series. He's also one of the only members of Tekkadan that feels like a child soldier. They try to add moments where they show how his upbringing has affected him, like difficulty expressing his feelings or illiteracy, but really it feels like they just don't know what to do with him. He's more like a mentor to Kudelia and a driving force for Orga than MC.
Yeah, I'm getting ready to begin writing up a review of this series for the end of the month. It's good but overrated, and definitely wastes time during it's middle section. There's just this uneven quality to it like SEED where it's good parts are great and it's bad horrible. It no where near lives up to the hype though.
Also, I now know why people were warning me about director Nagai. This appears to be his usual MO.
I'm starting to struggle with finding more manga to binge. Just finished Hikaru no Go, about to start Mother Sarah, getting ready to follow it up with I Am A Hero, but I'm starting to run out of things I've been craving to pick up and read.
The latest chapter was released back in July 2014. Seems like the series is going to go the same route as Hellsing: The Dawn. At least the anime has enough material for a 1 or 2 cour series. Maybe they'll do an original story altogether

It's been that long since the last update already?
EDIT: Checking on Mangafox, unless the scanlators are stupidly slow, the manga still seems to update at a normal pace. As a matter of fact, they posted a new chapter yesterday.
Not sure if I want the anime to do its own thing, given the track record for anime adaptation trying to steer away from the original material is... well, it's not impossible, but hardly easy, either. On the other hand, I still want to see the anime given that as much as I liked what I read from the manga, it feels like it's missing something that I can sense in the anime trailers.
Probably my favourite Hosoda movie to date, and I loved Summer Wars.
Can't wait for a decent English sub for The Boy and the Beast. The Raws are out there now, but nobody's subbed it yet apart from shitty machine subs, or subs that have been translated from other international subs which usually aren't too great either.

I loved Wolf Children but I loved Summer Wars more. It's a large cast but everyone was important and the end part in the huge match of hanafuda made me cry. Also I love the design for King Kazma, he looked really cool and was like a mix of Sonic and Klonoa.
It looks like JoJo part 4 is going to be released on April 1st. The 2nd PV trailer will be released on March 21st
Part 4's release date
PV #2 announcement in Japanese
Of course, I have my doubts about the April 1st release date. Although, it's not too far fetched since April Fools will be on a Friday
Disregard that. April 1st has been officially confirmed to be the premiere date
