Satoshi's style can not be made into live action film. Its going to be an insult to his work. Why bother making new ideas when you can just bank off old classics. Feels bad manPoor guy must be rolling in his grave.

Maybe this is a controversial opinion, but I really feel like Speed Racer is the best American live action anime adaptation. It's appropriately campy and honestly does some interesting stuff in terms of translating the visual quirks of anime into a live action setting.
Plus it helps that it is adapting something that most Americans just know as a cheap Saturday morning cartoon from the 1960s. It wouldn't exactly make a lot of people mad if the movie ended up sucking.

Digimon has always been a Toei anime, Uzumaki is a Drive production according to Wikipediahttps://youtube.com/watch?v=HmFgcnOW_FE
Is Digimon Ghost Game making a reference to Uzumaki? An island, nearly everything is in a spiral, etc. Is the same studio working on the adaptation?
I liked it (classic OP), but it felt all over the place in tone. They did a great parodying the genre but sometimes the show would take itself way too seriously and shove a bunch of random grim shit in there.https://youtube.com/watch?v=X8Q-gCfQ6_o
Nadesico is great.
I'm still waiting for the Filipinos to fund a Voltes V remake.man, oil countries money are definitely involved in the new grendizer project.
Imagine having so much money that you can produce content just because you enjoy things but in a total different scale

Ever check out the manga? Or those games that connected the TV series and movies?I liked it (classic OP), but it felt all over the place in tone. They did a great parodying the genre but sometimes the show would take itself way too seriously and shove a bunch of random grim shit in there.
Apparently it's a controversial opinion, but I liked Prince of Darkness more than the TV show and wish it had been a trilogy/full OVA, in large part since Prince of Darkness picked a tone and stuck to it.
They should fund Captain Tsubasa, man... The manga has a bunch of new arcs that hasn't been animated yet.man, oil countries money are definitely involved in the new grendizer project.

Forgot that they released a trailer.I liked it (classic OP), but it felt all over the place in tone. They did a great parodying the genre but sometimes the show would take itself way too seriously and shove a bunch of random grim shit in there.

I've never read the manga but I still remember watching the series from 2001 back then and thinking: Hyuuga is so fucking cool. They should fund Captain Tsubasa, man... The manga has a bunch of new arcs that hasn't been animated yet.
PSG even came to Japan recently to meet with Takahashi:

Road to 2002 was top tier imo.
I got started on Tokyo Revengers. Surprisingly solid series. While the site was down, I finished Kabukimonogatari and Hanamonogatari
Odd watch order, most people stick Hana after Koi (as in, watch "second season" as the series as a block, then put the associated OVAs at the end)While the site was down, I finished Kabukimonogatari and Hanamonogatari
Kabuki was amazing, especially loved to see a lot more of Shinobu
Hana really fleshed out Kanbaru as a character and her dunking on Rouka is wonderful
Heard a lot of good things about the last 3 arcs of S2, so I'm excited
Gridman series was pretty underrated, even when it was at one point gaining popularity. I hope this one is good. The upcoming Gridman X Dynazenon movie was officially announced over the weekend. Gridman Universe is coming out sometime in 2023, presumably in April to coincide with the 30th anniversary of the original toku series. Cast listings confirm the main cast from both shows (Except Akane and Gauma) are returning.
