Also, Season 3 of Mob is gonna be the cult arc isn't it?

There are two major arcs and a bunch of smaller ones that happen before and between them left to adapt before the end of the manga, and it would be impossible to not cover all of it with this season due to them all not being that long.

There is also a spin-off/sequel called Reigen that could also be adapted in the future, which has already ended and itself could be told in its entirety in a single season.

How many fucking mods like Mob Psycho? Seems like fucking all of you have seen it what the fuck?

I know, but go check the Reigen Appreciation threads. It's a ton of mods. ONE is a pretty good storyteller, and Mob Psycho is honestly a great story of trying to be who you want to be and not let your talents and what others think get to you, good and bad.

all 'deconstruction' is just doing the same thing but either being edgy or bitching about it

unironically, konosuba is reconstruction than anything else with parody elements

What about The World of Otome Games is Tough on Mobs is that technically deconstruction?

I think that's why konosuba lands better then most other isekai comedies.
Someone pointed out that most isekai that try to be comedies just fall back on being parodies/satire of the genre to the point where its almost as generic as the bog standard isekai they where trying to mock in the first place. If you take out all the jokes that has a punchline along the lines of "this isn't like my fantasy anime/games/etc" from Konosuba there's a still a decent amount there unlike some other shows I can probably think of.

7DS anime turns to shit post-S2. As per fans 7DS as a story turns to shit after a while too, to the point some people wished it ended sooner. Also it looks like the mangaka is tracing from Dragon Ball due to how similar the artstyle becomes.
Well now that I finished the series, I have no idea why the fans got upset at the second half (DEEN and A-1 are both garbage studios), the story was pretty consistent and it ties up loose ends. Think it was solid; not the greatest story ever told, even as a shounen battle series, but I don't believe it pulled any ass pulls in terms of the plot. I still wish it kept the tongue-in-cheek winks to the camera over the OPness of a battle shounen, but I ain't mad.

Ban is fucking hot, I must say. Holy shit I wrote him off as the stereotypical Vegeta-esque anti-hero literally designed to be the badass (it's the red leather), ensemble dark horse of the Seven Deadly Sins (that honor goes to King, personally), and the dude was just bloody human in everything. I mean yeah no duh, he's a human, but his entire motivation was to find a purpose in his miserable life and he fought down to the bone and then some to find it and keep it. What a Chad. It's hard to pick a favorite Sin, but I think he's got my vote.

I still don't like the trend of making sequel series off the characters' kids, but one day I'll check this one out if there's plans to bring in the Knights of the Round Table, if I'm reading into things right.

Dungeon Meshi is getting an anime adapted by Trigger, ngl I'm pretty hyped about it.
Hopefully it'll have a similiar quality to the manga cm released a few years back.

I don't remember Trigger doing adaptions. I just hope they'll stick to the source material rather than inserting their over stylized and overdone crap.

They did a light novel adaptation back in 2014: Inou-Battle wa Nichijou-kei no Naka de.

What are you talking about? Betelgeuse in green form from Re Zero has to be one of the best in recent times. It's maniacally awesome.
Haven't watched Re:Zero yet. Saori Hayami was just impressive in that clip simply because that whole rant was done all on the first take, that's all anyone wanted to talk about when that episode aired.

They did SSSS.GRIDMAN. Which while not a direct adaptation, it is a sequel to the original Hyper Agent Gridman. Even uses a lot of concepts from it's original aborted sequel Gridman Fighter.

An adaptation is a better fit for Trigger than their wholly in-house stuff. Trigger is usually all flash, no substance. So, my favorite works from their studio are ones like Gridman or Dynazenon where they have an actual writer onboard. Hopefully they have some money to burn on it too.

And it's one of the best moments of voice-acting in anime, or in anything, really. An absolute GOAT.
I agree, its sort if unfortunate that outside of that there's not much else to the series, least from what I remember.

Too different to compare imo, though if there's one thing most can agree about Re:Zero, its that the villians are fantastic and have a ton of character.
