I'm not sure if everyone is aware of this, but Junji Ito just came out with a new manga called The Liminal Zone

Also, an interesting manga just got a TV Anime. Usually manga of this nature would be made into a J-Drama, so it's pretty cool it's getting an anime. It's called My Home Hero. The mangaka of this manga also authored I'm Standing on a Million Lives and Psychometrer Eiji.

It's about your average Japanese salaryman protecting his family from a crime syndicate using the skills he learned from reading and writing mystery novels.

I've been watching Yurei Deco and as much as I actually like bubbly techno bullshit no matter how derivative or generic, the little "quirks" of the main two girls is pretty grating. It helps if you take a shot every time the main chick says "Love-y!" and the hacker girl uses her "fucky-wucky" rhyme scheme.
I like the Jimi Hendrix-looking dude though.

Fuuto PI is good, if you can get past how distracting it is to have the characters look like who they're supposed to be, but sound differently. Still, the animation is really nice, the music is great and it's nice to see a cool continuation of Kamen Rider W's setting. Hopefully we get to see a henshin and some action next week. Watcherman in particular looks just like the actor who played him. It was uncanny.

Recently rediscovered the movie adaptation of "Poison Berry in My Brain" (think Inside Out, but centering around a thirty year old woman instead of an eleven year old girl) thanks to @SteelPlatedHeart and now I'm reading the manga version. Seems like it's never been localized and it's only been translated online up to about halfway into Volume 2. Bit of a shame.

It is also crazy how different Ichiko looks in the manga vs the movie.

Protip: When dating an older woman, don't be this idiot:

Gabriel Dropout is still the best 2010’s anime I’ve ever had the chance to witness.

also for those who like this anime, i can't recommend jashin-chan dropkick enough. it does the same thing with angels and devils but the mc is a piece of shit who gets violently killed every episode. i also love the OP for the first season.

Which sucks, since it means I'll never get to see Owari no Chronicle or Horizon fully animated. Kawakami's world-building ability is honestly insane.
Ah yes, Horizon in the Middle of Nowhere, the one that looks like a retarded ecchi action-comedy but is actually insanely clever and deep when you pay closer attention. I was rewatching it a while back and realized "wait a minute, this show's political and economic discussions are on the level of LOGH and Gasaraki."
