Discussion of older anime elsewhere lead me to a discussion of Star Blazers, specifically this clip. I don't think for the time period the dub was that bad but it can sound kind of goofy.

His chanting minions sound somewhat like a high school cheer squad. "Desslok Desslok Desslok! GOOOOOOOO DESSLOK! YAY! GO! FIGHT! WIN! "
Desslok, Desslok, he's our man! If he can't do it, nobody can!

Besides the mask mandate is there any shit worth talking (laughing) at AX about or is one day too soon for fugitive and literal shit (its LA so it be wrong not to assume so) to hit a fan.

Anybody know the manga where the main premise is reincarnation between one guy and a girl throughout human existence (literally have one iteration being married, one dying and her reincarnation being a mentored by the older, star crossed lovers) and there's a panel where all the guys reincarnations tell him not to despair? Been on my mind for a while.

I've been reading 'The Unwanted, Undead Adventurer' recently. The basic premise of it is that a low-ranked adventurer is killed by a dragon and then wakes up as a skeleton, with the story then following his journey to become normal again. It feels like a mixture of Goblin Slayer and So I'm a Spider, although the protagonist isn't as likable or interesting as Goblin Slayer himself or Kumoko. Speaking of the protagonist, I'm not sure where the 'unwanted' part of the title comes from given that everyone seems to like the him well enough; in fact, that's one of problems with it -- while it's avoided it so far I feel like it could slip into harem terroristic, which I generally loathe. Another problem is that is seems that they burnt through a lot of the plot fast in volume one and the story has since slowed down considerably. Lastly, while the art is generally really good, the artist occasionally makes the MC's skeleton mask look derpy.

Overall, though, I'm finding it entertaining enough to keep reading. There's an anime adaption in the works but given how mediocre the animes of Goblin Slayer and So I'm a Spider turned out I'm not holding my breath for it to be great.

Two days ago, the nine member idol group Aquors of Love! Live! Sunshine fame celebrated their seventh year anniversary of forming.

They even made a special song to celebrate:

CAN CONFIRM! ITS REAL! NO MEME! NO BAIT! NO ELABORATE SHITPOST! THIS IS ALL 100% REAL!!!!!!!

NO FOOTAGE YET BUT THIS TWEET DESCRIBES THE TEASER

This shit is even STICKIED ON /a/ in the off chance you still doubted its validity
Fuck its cursed. Every /a/ sticky has ended up backfiring when it comes to new anime recently where the ones they do end up shit while the ones that fly under the radar usally end up good, off the top of my head:
>R3 ended up being shit
>FLCL has been milked to death with dumb seasons
>Biscuit Hamer looks like it will be nothing but QUALITY
