Those fucking faggots are the cancer that's killing mecha, fuck your Evanjelly donuts trash, Tomino anime is where it's at. Evangelion is not smart, it's not deep, it's at best a "stand the fuck up in life and don't be a sissy, be a man" kind of show.
"Fandoms" are the cancer that is killing everything. Imagine defining yourself so strongly by what you consume that you have to announce you're no longer a fan of something like it's a fucking breakup.

For real? Bro, I gotta see that shit lmao. Satan gotta “get over” Akira somehow.

On another note, I’m debating checking out MHA. I see it everywhere. But the first time I watched it, I thought it was kinda boring. What are your guys’ thoughts, if you hadn’t expressed them already?
MHA isn't bad... Until you read the spin-off & it just becomes mediocre in comparison. The spin-off's final chapter is coming in some days, I'll say just binge read it, just so you can read the spin-off & join everyone in the glorious finale.

A moment in Season 3 is pretty hype, that's about it for me. I'm reading it, waiting for it to be over, but with anticipation for something as hype as that moment.

Spinoff is that good?

Spinoff is that good?
Yes, surpasses the main manga & has a moment that connects the main manga to the point that the anime adapts it. Also, the anime is kinda tame & censored compared to the manga, the latest season straight-up ruined the best & most brutal arc of the manga.

As I said, you should read it before 27th. It's when the spin-off is ending. Again, try to read the main manga first, it helps understand the spin-off more. You can start the spin-off after the My Villain Academia Arc due to a semi-big character dying & the spin-off is set before the main series. Or you can just catch up to the main manga & get ready for the finale. You got a lot to read tho.

Didn't the creator say something along the lines of how the religious symbolism was just for show and had no real meaning but all these brainlets have been trying to over analyze it for years?
Yeah, a lot of the religious symbolism was put into the original show because the creators thought it would look cool. Who’s say some of it wasn’t intentional but a majority of it was purely aesthetic.

MHA is the typical shonen where the most interesting and unique characters are the side characters which are forgotten most of the time unless they have crazy popularity for badassness/coomers. The main character could have been interesting but his development ends in the first three episodes, after which quite literally everyone loves him and he's given everything on a silver platter.
The villains weren't very interesting or threatening and that overall tanked my interest I think in the third season.

This is another big one that I was never interested in, it looks like a typical shounen and apparently that's the case. Not a fan of the art style either, the MC is ugly and that's enough to put me off it.

Jitsu wa Watashi wa is one of the best romance anime(s) that I’ve watched to date. I’ve been on and off with the manga version of it for more than a few years now, and it’s mainly because of pic related:

Masuda Eiji really knows how to lay in the hyper-expressive facial expressions in this. That character above is one of the best in the series, and it’s just too hilarious (at times) to take seriously.

Though, that’s how great this anime/manga is.

I've watched a little of it a few years back (before it really took off). I dislike Deku for the same reasons I don't like Kaneki (Tokyo Ghoul). The style's alright... but if I didn't see it everywhere, I'll be able to stomach it more.

I've heard someone on here describe MHA as Naruto for zoomers and that honestly they're so right (ignore the fact I got a Gurren Lagann character as my avatar alright I'm counterculture I swear).

Deku seriously doesn't get any further character development? Dang, no wonder I got bored by the fourth episode.

Im sure its a great anime and a great manga too. But I dont think I wanna watch MHA. Out of all animes, I feel like MHA has the worst fanbase of them all. They're all so gay and have pro nouns in their bio. Its like the Dead By Daylight of anime. Largest LGBT and biggest group of degens in the anime community. One can argue that SAO or One Piece fans are worse. But this is just my shitty opinion.

I don't get it what is it with that particular show (and others like it) that have the biggest amount of those types of people flocking to it but it sure is facisnating.

And bro, do ya really gotta mention Sword Art Online? That shit ain't been relevant for a while. At least, since Alclinzation (however the fuck you spell it) came out. That was in 2017, right? The most I hear about it is that "it wasn't really that bad" and other apologist cope shit.

You coulda least mention DragonBall fans. Those dudes are fucking wild.

I loved the first two seasons of MHA and while I haven't seen the anime for it My Villain Academia is incredible. Other than that it's hit and miss but mostly fine I guess. I think the later arcs are rushed too. It feels like it just jumps from climax to climax without the substance to make those events matter to the reader. Seems every Shonen Jump series has to be short now but he planned it out like a longer series.

Class A is very welcoming and close knit so it makes them feel safe. The characters are all cute and iconic looking so they can latch onto a particular one. Plus the schoolwork is mostly cool superpower training. It's kind of a Harry Potter appeal with these fans. It's easy to imagine oneself as another student at UA or Hogwarts. That's a big appeal to these supernatural boarding school series.

Speaking of the fans I don't see why they love Stain so much. His ideology is stupid and he doesn't even follow it. The only hero he takes down isn't corrupt in the slightest, then he tells the guy's little brother he's a corrupt hero for being mad about it. I liked him after he got out of prison but that's maybe two short appearances. The best things he's done so far were get beat up by some high school kids and give All Might a pep talk. That's about it. He'd be a good character if part of his defeat was being called out on his bullshit by Deku. In Vigilante they don't even entertain his bullshit, he gets his face caved in and that's the end of it.

He learns to kick sometimes and its treated as a big character moment

I got to the hero licence bit before giving up, its just such a by the numbers shonen the best you can give it is that it is competent at following the playbook

Rewatching Trigun again. It's got one of the only dubs I like more than the original voicework.

On episode 4 of Tomodachi Game. Something feels weirdly out of place in terms of the stakes. They're threatened with tons of debt but like, that's never explained and it's treated like a life or death game. It's tried to be super sinister so far but it's not like they're being threatened with executions or torture.

About 30 episodes until I'm done with Toriko. I don't really see how it's supposed to wrap up so many loose ends by then but whatever.

Deku sucks because he's a whiny something something.

He was supposed to be what child version of Naruto was in the earlier years of the anime, and it was because of that, people liked BHA more than they did with Boruto (for obvious reasons, of course.)

Though, the manga version was a lot more entertaining as time went on, except Boruto’s arc of him traveling back to see the child version of Naruto was slightly more entertaining than watching the latter half’s anime episodes of MHA. (Personal opinion, of course.)

If anything, it taught me that Bokugo was the interesting character on the show. Yet, he gets overtly and unnecessarily sexualized and effeminate by fan artists and fans alike.

How in the living Hell did we go from mecha being the most respected (and most sane) anime genre to being a punching bag for all the shounenfags and pseuds?
Because you're dealing with Evafags who have always been insanely pretentious and it's neck and neck with Gundam for "go-to mecha shows." None of these pretentious fags will ever watch Tomino classics like Xabungle, Dunbine, or King Gainer (they might watch Ideon but only because they're pretentious and will never appreciate it on its actual merits).

Yes, that's why out of all the so-called "Eva clones", the best is Genesis of Aquarion because all the "deep symbolism" is more or less sex jokes and the show doesn't take itself too seriously.

I've heard it described as "zoomer Naruto." The only difference between it and Naruto is that Naruto's fanbase came before all the yaoi fangirls were troons and pronouns in bio.

That also never really interested me. The defining shounen shows for me are probably Hikaru no Go and FMA/Brotherhood. Suzuka is also decent shounen.
