Yes very much so. OG DB is a comfy as fuck, until the end when the Budokai Tenkaichi Arc starts. DBZ is fun as fuck, but Kai is garbage despite being "coherent" as per some. GT is also great at times despite retards saying it ain't, tho it does have some issues that make it so the whole show becomes great at the start of a certain arc.Are the older dragonball seasons worth checking out? I enjoyed Super and Broly but haven't seen the old ones since I was a kid
I finally watched the Eternal movies and all I could think of the whole time was "This should've just been season four, Toei, to fix the shitty pacing." No reason it should've been two movies outside of milking money from a franchise they never really cared for.Trailer for the Sailor Moon Cosmos movie dropped. It's probably going to be as painfully average as Eternal.

…………what?Summertime Rendering is switching from a VN to Among Us, which makes me wonder if they'll have the hero do something that resets the impostors since it's way more interesting when you don't know who the impostors are.
Basically the MC goes back into his old village on an abandoned island after his childhood friend dies. Shit happens, he dies and return to the point in time of him arriving. Now we discover that there are multiple "shadows" on the island who's goal is to kill and replace the native citizens. And you can't differentiate between the two.…………what?
It was confirmed that he's gonna relaunch his hockey manga he made just prior to Kamuy.I hate to see my favorite ongoing series end, but damn did that chapter make me happy. Everyone got sent off right. I can't wait to see what Noda does next.
As rushed and sloppy as the ending was the fact that it ended with Shiraishi winning all the remaining gold in the end, becoming king, and beating all the other gold hunters makes it a good ending in my book.Damn I didn't expect Golden Kamuy to end that quick, though it sounds like he'll add more in the volume release as usual. I'm satisfied though. Now that it's over I can easily say this is one of my favorite manga of all time. Top 5 for sure. Also this page:

your first mistake was trying to guide the normiesAwhile ago I jokingly mentioned trying to come up with a basic list of how to find anime yourself for some friends so they would stop pestering me with variations of "is this anime worth watching" and I tried sitting down and actually coming up with some.
I'll spoiler it so its not a wall of text but anyone else have any suggestions to add or want to argue if some of these points are borderline retarded.
-Sit down for 3 minutes and watch the opening and ending of a show. 90% of the time you'll get a good snapshot of what the show looks like, who's the target audience, etc.
-The remaining 10% you'll probably hear to death about how "the show tricked us" you had to have been living under a rock not to know of it
-Only use anime sites like MAL or AniDB for there database and advanced search feature
-Anime reviews/reviewers are as untrustworthy and even more shit then game reviews/reviewers
-See if the director or original creator of a show you already like has done anything else just like how you would so for move directors or book authors
-Start getting familiar with anime studios when you watch anime and you'll start to get a rough idea of which make what type of show
-Also keep track of what year a show is made if you do this since a few studios have completely restructure their staff so much that they might as well be considered a completely new one
-If you every find yourself thinking "I'll give it one more episode till it gets good" you fucked up. Just drop a show as soon as it gets stale.
-The 3 episode rule is retarded
-Know what genre your in the mood for
-If you have a hobby outside of anime there's a 50/50 chance there's an anime about it (odds go up if its something tangential to Japan)
-Its also a 50/50 chance you'll either like it or completely despise it
-Its OK to listen to normies online know and then about what was the most popular show of the season is if you just want to put something on, just expected it to be overhyped to hell and back
-Never get into discussions with said normies about said shows unless you want to loss some saintly or just shitpost about some mid tier show on /a/
I found out that some normalfags watch anime in 2x speed, there is no help for them. gatekeep animeAwhile ago I jokingly mentioned trying to come up with a basic list of how to find anime yourself for some friends so they would stop pestering me with variations of "is this anime worth watching" and I tried sitting down and actually coming up with some.

I've only managed to successfully explain this to a couple of anime fans that it is possible to tell what studio made what anime from a glance. Finding a studio that appeals to one's taste makes for interesting discoveries, but normies typically don't figure this out and don't care to unless it's Ghibli and to an extent Madhouse.Start getting familiar with anime studios when you watch anime and you'll start to get a rough idea of which make what type of show
I'll confess that I've done this for a few anime in the past partly due to time-constraints and partly because holy fucking shit some of these shows are so boring but I don't drop shows. However, I do go out of my way to do a proper rewatch in the future (most of them I give a rating of "5"--which is grounds for second chances--like Sakura Trick and Haikyuu for example, but I haven't been in the mood/felt like doing a rewatch yet). The main exception was Naruto because I was "racing" someone on MAL and I discovered they were cheating and I had a "This means war" moment and did the exact same thing, much to their surprise. But also it's Naruto, honestly didn't deserve my respect.I found out that some normalfags watch anime in 2x speed, there is no help for them.
It really depends on the anime you're watching. I watch it at twice the speed depending on the personal investment I have with the plot. Sometimes, the manga is just better than the anime because you control the pace.I found out that some normalfags watch anime in 2x speed, there is no help for them. gatekeep anime
There's nothing wrong with watching anime in 2x speed if it's trash.I'll confess that I've done this for a few anime in the past partly due to time-constraints and partly because holy fucking shit some of these shows are so boring but I don't drop shows. But to regularly watch in 2x speed is distasteful and everyone who does this habitually needs to be flogged.
But at that point why would you even watch it in the first place? It really depends on the anime you're watching. I watch it at twice the speed depending on the personal investment I have with the plot. Sometimes, the manga is just better than the anime because you control the pace.

Just for the sake of completing it. The slow parts honestly kill me inside, so watching it at 2x speed makes it watchable. But at that point why would you even watch it in the first place?

Nigga there is ABSOLUTELY ZERO fucking reason to watch anime at double speed. Watching anime isn't a job, its entertainment. You shouldn't have to force yourself to watch something on your own free time.I've only managed to successfully explain this to a couple of anime fans that it is possible to tell what studio made what anime from a glance. I wouldn't call them normies just newfags.your first mistake was trying to guide the normies
they do not understand, brother
and they never will
The best advice to watching an anime is the three episodes rule. If you aren't really interested in an anime by the time you get to the third episode (but not enough not caring to drop it outright) then just let go.Awhile ago I jokingly mentioned trying to come up with a basic list of how to find anime yourself for some friends so they would stop pestering me with variations of "is this anime worth watching" and I tried sitting down and actually coming up with some.
