I can't believe Spy x Family got my tears acting up. It's been two years since I read MISSION 1 but, this is such a good adaptation. Loid wasn't nerfed, Anya's VA is top-tier. Only issue is that VHS rewind sound for her esper power and subs move waaaaaaaaaaay too fast for me. I hate how good it is, animation and everything.
Yeah, I normally only pick a few shows to watch a season and Spy x family looks to be on my watching list. Hopefully this will solve Japan's declining birth rate

Japan may or may not solve it's problems. But that will be at the cost of American zoomer retardation.

Even other people are calling this shit out so you can still have a little trust in humanity.

This is the first time I’ve heard someone boldly say this about this character.

On TikTok of all places :stress:

It is stunning how much better One Punch Man becomes when Saitama finally shows up and does something.

For those who stopped reading OPM, the Monster Society storyline is finally (well, hopefully) reaching its conclusion with my boi facing off against angsty faggot Garo. I'm praying its quick so we can get back to hanging with the bros.

Discovered this weird arthouse OVA, through VaatiVidya. Can anyone interpret it?

Angel’s Egg was actually the gateway to researching 80’s anime OVAs and obscure movies that were very experimental for its time. If anything, it says a lot that in current day we can never have anything as interesting as Angel’s Egg come out today.

Came here to ask for some recommendations, i'm tired of how samey a lot of shit on the western side is.

What would you guys recommend as a "fast food" sorta show? Not really looking to get super invested in deep lore, complex characters and intricate themes, just wanna have something funny to pop in when i'm bored

...Wouldnt mind some fanservice either

City Hunter. 50+ episodes of action, style, and pervert jokes.

The Great Jahy Will Not Be Defeated! had plenty of that, considering Jahy's demon lord outfit when she's in adult form (and not wearing her waitress uniform) is just booty shorts with straps and the tavern owner is even more well-endowed.

There is a story with Jahy wanting to restore the Dark Realm while trying to survive on poverty wages on Earth but it's nothing too profound.

Maybe try Golden Boy?

Recent release wise, I found The Vampire Dies in No Time to be hilarious, fair warning though I laugh at stupid shit.

Asobi Asobase and Osomatsu-san season 1 are great too.

Technically Code Geass is a "fast food" show since fast food is just junk food. Hi-yooooo!

But for realsies, everyone says Code Geass is super deep and such, but everyone literally turns their brains off to watch it because when you actually delve further into it in a logical sense, especially by the second season, everything falls apart.

For a show where you just pop in like once a day or so and don't have to worry about memorizing lore and shit, or you're popping in because you don't have a whole lot of time, Chi's Sweet Home and its sequel Chi's New Address.

There's also the 2016 revival, though personally I don't like how slow it feels and looks compared to the original shorts. But that's just me.

Mine would probably be the Funimation dub of Shin-Chan. Minimal continuity, short segments (and a lot of them), and just really funny.
Doraemon's not bad either.
