Anyone ever heard of the Korean manhwa Girls of The Wild's? It started as kinda a harem since it is about a guy in an all girls school which most of the girls are martial artists. Until the other girls moved on to other guys. It got a loose adaption in China called Sweet Combat

I would've loved this if I were younger, but I just find all the romantic stuff depressing these days. Also, unrealistic. Guess it's just me growing older and more bitter.

I did read the series and watched Sweet Combat.

I have a personal feeling with the Sweet Combat series since it was my first chinese TV series and in the first episode, it shows bits of Macau, which had big portuguese inflience in its colonization, which where I am from it was the same. So in some shots I felt I was literally at the center of my own city but with chinks talking, completely bizarre.

I really liked the art, the girls were cute in the webtoon.

I kinda expected it to be a K-Drama first. Then again Taiwan did adapt Hana Yori Dango, Marmalade Boy and Hayate The Combat Butler. I'm surprised Taiwan didn't try to adapt it before China did. Did Taiwan ever try to adapt manhwa before into live action drama?

not taiwan, but hong kong:

it was adapted multiple times into live action, and the ones who got closests were the french

Ranking of Kings just finished and it probably has to be one of the best in the past few years. It actually concluded well with major plot points all wrapped up nicely.

Heads up if you use CrunchyRoll.

>Implying people on this site of all places have any qualms about pirating.
But this does remind me of why I don't take people who come up with a bunch of retarded ass reasons to why they pirate beyond not just don't want to pay for shit or don't want to support a service seriously.
All their points that why streaming services are killing the anime industry implies that said services are monolith and will never be shut down let alone loose a few shows from their catalogs. Yet how many shows is CR losing? Hell not even streaming originals are safe because Netflix just lost a bunch of their old originals they made to Disney.

Tldr if you're gonna pirate shit, don't try to come up with some faggot ass reasons to why and just admit you don't want to pay for shit.

What Crunchyroll is losing is actually a very minor drop in the bucket compared to what they're gaining. They're folding the Funimation catalogue into theirs. I know because I just watched Future Diary (and holy shit loved it) which just got transferred from Funi to CR.

Booooooooooooo. There's enough material for at least three-cour, isn't there? Booooooooooooooo.
Maybe? Bastard becomes more and more disjointed the further in the plot it goes, and it's not as though it actually has an ending so I'm sure you can just pick an arbitrary point where some amount of plotlines resolve and end your 24 episodes on it unless they are actually writing an anime only ending to account for the author heading out for smokes 11 years ago and never coming back.

So Golden Kamuy fans, a very popular character just bit the dust and people are pissed

Some context: Ogata murdered his brother and has been in denial of his guilt for years. After getting shot with a poisoned arrow he hallucinates the ghost of his brother, realizes what he did, and kills himself the way he killed his brother. In poetic irony his whole death parallels how he murdered his family.

According to /a/ several Japanese people deactivated their Twitters in anger when he died and posting about brain damage to cope and think he's still alive. I expect the fujos on Tumblr to have similar meltdowns. The main English translator for the series also had a meltdown because two of his favorite characters had what he felt were unsatisfying deaths. Ending isn't producing as much salt as some other series like AOT but there's a little.

Are we sure he's dead because didn't Sugimoto get shot in the head and was presumed dead. Twice. And at least one of those times it was Ogata
