forgot how pretty Zura looks while cross-dressing no homo.
Gintama actually has a trans man in its cast:

I hope you didn't think I was going to post a picture of Kyubei.

Also check out Ciguatera, it's a bit different but deals with abuse/bullying and teen angst. It's a great story from the creator of the gross out gag manga The Ping Pong Club.
Reading it now. I feel like we're running headlong into a tragedy. Also the author likes drawing brakes for some reason.

Honestly I hope they don’t, IMO it’s one of the few instances where a non-faithful anime adaptation is actually better than the manga because yes while it’s far from complete (…I think it adapted less than half the volumes)

To be fair, a handful of Ouran High School Host Club manga volumes are like two chapters of Ouran High School Host Club proper and then a way-too-long Egoist Club one-shot or two-shots.

It reminds me of buying an Archie Double Digest as a kid because I want to read about Archie, Jughead, Reggie, Moose, Betty, Veronica, and sometimes Sabrina and Josie but there's a whole bunch of L'il Jinx chapters. Who is that? Is she Archie's cousin or something? Does this even take place in Riverdale? And now, apparently, she's a daughter of a demon or something (but I think that's a modern retcon, she wasn't nephilim when I was a kid).

Now, if only Takehiko Inoue could drop his basketball fetish and fucking finish Vagabond, all will be right in the world.

In all seriousness, this is amazing news. And the fact that it will be the ending that Miura intended (in some form) gives me a lot of relief.
I only read buzzer beater by him and Vagabond, I think he should stick with sports manga than the borefest that is vagabond.

They always do this to Ouran Boys Host Club and Freezing, but would never do this to the yuri shows like Yuru Yuri. Really makes you think.

I think the genderspecials consider Yuru Yuri to be a "male gaze" kind of manga/anime (even if it was created by a woman) so they want nothing to do with it.

They need to make it like in the good ol' days. None of this power of friendship crap that's causing the series to slowly go shounen.
I had been feeling like absolute crap this past week but this honestly made this week one of my best this year! I honestly thought Berserk was probably done for good but this is incredible news!! Rest easy Miura, your masterpiece will be completed eventually.

Do you know who Mori Kōji is? He's a fit Chris with a work ethic who probably tried sudoku at least once. You all should read Destroy and Revolution and Sousei no Taiga (they're very easy and fast reads with a clean layout). Make sure to avoid "spoilers", getting blindsided by the insanity is the fun part. It'll be a bigger mess than you all think Attack on Titan is.

Ganbatte Mori-sensei you absolute madlad.

I honestly need some grimdark themes in my manga right now. If it's Mori Koji we're talking about, I'd prefer Holyland and/or Suicide Island.

I’m worried how they will react to Urusei Yatsura since that is getting a new anime considering several characters, one a trap and the other reverse trap which became inspirations to Ukyo and Tsubasa in Ranma.

That's gonna be rough. Not sure how I feel about them fucking with Ryuunosuke's character.

I have my doubts that the result will be good. They basically admitted that they have no plan how he wanted the story to continue and end. I think the best would be a quick end for the story to be completed even when it's rushed.

Well that's what happens when you die before finishing your epic life's work.

Okay, to everybody who's got doubts about Kouji Mori's quality as a storyteller, there's two very relevant points I'd like to bring up.

The first is that he knows the story of Berserk because he was Miura's best friend since high school. The two used to hang out together in a 'I'm living at your house' way and after Miura really got started with Berserk, they talked about it a lot. He's someone who actually knows what Miura had planned beyond this point from the man's very mouth.

The second is the type of bond the two shared.

I'm willing to give this man a chance to do justice to his best friend's life work.
[EDITED TO CORRECT NAME BECAUSE I COULD BARELY WRITE AS IT WAS]

These two are more grounded (though even they have their epic moments), but Berserk is fantasy, so I expect the result to resemble D&R (which had Wraith the fan translator howling in pain in the later chapters) and Sousei no Taiga (which I'm absolutely pumped for /pol/ to discover).

As a side note, I hate that when I google the latter, the blurb reads "a story of a young man who lacks a sense of reality after being dumped by his lover" even though mah boi Taiga outChads Captain Harlock from chapter 2 onward.

I don't doubt him in the slightest. I love Mori Kōji, he's got the sincerity, work ethic and diligence which are rarely found separately not to mention together. I'm just saying whatever he ends up doing with Berserk will be much more to my liking than anyone else's.

Check out Boy's Abyss. It's currently at 96 chapters, but I'm waiting for the entire story to finish up in order to binge read it. Also check out Ciguatera, it's a bit different but deals with abuse/bullying and teen angst. It's a great story from the creator of the gross out gag manga The Ping Pong Club. They're both on mangadex.
Finished Ciguatera. It was mediocre and I feel it ended early. No real resolution, and a bunch of picked up and dropped plot points. I also just don't like goofy protagonists.

Started Boy's Abyss and after three chapters, I'm in.
