Interesting for someone to take the Baratie as one of the lowest. I'll remark that your feelings for Krieg do make sense because that is part of the point of him. He is basically a tease/statement about the upcoming journey that the Straw Hats must go on. We forget because the travel time is rarely shown or seen how dangerous it is to sail the Grand Line during the later 4/5'ths of the story, but Krieg is a lesson to new readers about the horrors that the crew is about to embark on where a 'single man' could wipe out the most powerful fleet in the East Blue. We are even told, that this ocean is the weakest of the waters in comparison to degrade Krieg further... Who I must remind is a person who can canonically lift this ship with one arm.

He is there to show Luffy is stronger, create the tension on the cooks and have us care about Zeff and Sanji because of the ships importance to their dreams and relationship, put Luffy in a toughspot where he must fight with Water being a hazard (Something long since lost in the series) and further the threat of what the Grandline is. He is a good 'threat' for when we know nothing. He is an upstart like Luffy who got his ass handed to him despite everything to create the threat and disappeared because he got his shit wrecked even further, fated to be a loser who kneels to Blackbeard.
Don't get me wrong I still thought it was a good arc but like I said kreig doesn't work in hindsight for me. Buggy still works for me even though I somewhat think him and shanks being former Roger pirates is a later idea since even post time skip he's clearly out of his depth and just really lucky and good at bullshiting, Kuro and Arlong still work because they seem to have moved into east blue because it was easy pickings (although that makes me wonder how strong was Arlong compared to the rest of the sun pirates), And what little menace Kreig had kinda evaporates when Mihawk decides to show up, kicks Zoro's ass, then leaves.
Gin I still liked, kinda wish he didn't disappear completely outside of that cameo he and Kreig made working under Blackbeard.

I'm not sure it's fair to say this. Naruto's writing is worse than Bleach for sure
I don't think this is true at all, especially of part 1 which was great pretty much the entire way though. I feel like most people now judge Naruto on part 2 because they watched part 1 on Toonami when they were 12 but I'm actually slowly rereading the manga and part 1 was legit better than I remember it being. Part 2 is where it becomes hit or miss and a lot of people started hating it, dude basically threw away the entire cast everyone loved in favor of some mostly underwhelming villains. When it comes to plot holes though, I think a lot of them are a product of writing the same story for like 15 years so it sucks but I don't really care.

I don't even think Bleach has super bad writing though, the story is obviously a repeating loop almost every arc so it can guarantee a lot of cool battles but I actually think the character writing is pretty good. Kubo knows that a cool design alone is not enough to make a character cool, they need an edge to them, they need something that'll make you want to see them win. That's actually part of why the Arrancar saga was so disappointing, people loved the Espada and Kubo went out of his way to make you love them more even at the last second by giving almost all of them a flashback backstory but a lot of them really just ended up fodderized and done dirty.

I'm not sure it's fair to say this. Naruto's writing is worse than Bleach for sure, considering it has plot-holes the size of trucks, and the bad guy was so OP, that Naruto and Saske were given multiple retcon power-ups in a row, and it still wasn't enough. Not that Bleach was much better and it also suffered from a too powerful bad guy faction, but at least it didn't have a bunch of snowflakes (other than Ichigo) that made everyone dumber with their presence so that the plot revolves around them.
Oh, and the drawing style and anime of Naruto gets atrocious at times, with newbie mistakes such as the author forgetting to draw certain characters in a group (like how Sachi, the drawing guy IIRC, was not shown in a group shot even though he was supposed to be here). Bleach does have style for sure. One Piece is not ending anytime soon, so I can't say.
Does Bleach even have a plot? It's basically events the main characters react to every arc, with only the villains having actual long term goals, and world building that is the bare minimum to justify what's happening.

With Naruto you still had characters goals and a sense of history to the events

I finished watching that anime about the rocks and I like that the final shot implies that studying mineralogy just makes you grow up to be thicc

Speaking of one piece can somebody summarize what has happened since they left wano country? I've practice read a could chapters but it always feels like wordswordswords with little to actual anything happening

Koby gets kidnapped by Blackbeard and gets busted out by Garp. Meanwhile the Straw Hats end up with Vegapunk just as the World Government Plus Ultra Buster Calls him for knowing too much about the Void Century and he plot dumps with hacked snails and dies. Then the Straw Hats end up on Elbaf right before the God Knights start fucking with the Giants.

Man, being in a forum must be hell since there is also a lot of wordswordwords here. I did type out what happened, but I think you should actually put in the effort to half-ass read and understand anything to get to the part where a 5 minute old baby is thrown from a deadly height and climbs back up after decapitating a bear.

Bleach vs. Naruto again, lol.

To give my two cents, I felt that Bleach by the end got boring, with too much time vasted on repetitive fights with a carboard gallery of villains. Then again, Bleach was always better in the anime version. Now that the final arc is animated, and with decent quality, I need to check if I appreciate it more.

Naruto, on the other hand, got just offensively bad. Frankly, I thought it was completely irredeemable after the very first arc of Shippuden, when it became obvious that the whole world will bend backwards if it is necessary to drag Sasuke out of the hole he willingly jumped into. Bleach at worst was "meh". Naruto's plot made me actively angry.

It turned out Mihawk can't actually use Haki or fight at all, he was just painting his sword black the entire time and doesn't like using it because he doesn't want people to see if the paint gets scratched off.

oh great, more bleach copers
we've had this conversation so many times i'm just going to post highlights
To be honest, if you just memory hole the stuff with Kaguya and the "chosen one" bullshit with the Sage, I think it might actually be a pretty damn good ending...

BECAUSE OF THAT SHIT.
Naruto was never really about decent powerscaling or even Sasuke or some gay war. It's just a story about a dude going from a virgin to chad because he wanted to. Yeah, there's the obvious pitfalls of birthrights and power privileges every shonen series does.
Dude decides he's going to become president, does so by working hard, brings his best friend back from being an incel in the process, and then gets to fuck the dandere every day for the rest of his life because he earned it across 700 chapters.
He did the thing he said he would do in the first fucking chapter.
There's a simplicity and optimism there that mangakas have just forgotten over the course of 10 years. I don't know if they're trying to go down some deconstructionist western route or if mangakas are really going through immense burnout (which for whatever was just something mangakas powered through a decade or two ago), but it's really the worst shit you can pull, especially for a series that was supposed to literally be a tribute to silver age american comics.
Say what you will about Naruto, but it at least knew it was an underdog story and delivered on that.

Man, I really hope One Piece doesn't fuck itself.
Yup.

You think it's cool and then you grow up, really think about it, and figure out none of it really makes any sense. From Aizen's plans, Soul Society, the Vizards, Urahara, and why Yoruichi is a fucking cat. When you realize Ichigo wins every major fight using the exact same story beats and asspulls, you just can't enjoy the story anymore. It's just bad. And unironic Bleach fanboys are some of the most retarded people. People pretending like Bleach is good now is the most embarrassing shit. The Thousand Year Blood War doesn't make any sense and literally comes out of fucking nowhere.
The fight scenes can be good. Grimmjow vs Ichigo or hollow Ichigo vs Byakuya are still great. It's all style over substance, though.

I think Bleach suffers from having too much going on. The best and most simple element imo is Aizen's treachery and his motivations, but then they spend so much time pissing about with the other meandering plot elements that the entire thing loses focus. Aizen crops up in TYBW and it almost gets interesting because you think maybe he'll team up with whatever the fucking bad guy's name is, or kill the bad guy and become the new big bad for a proper round 2 of the Ichigo-Aizen fight, or maybe there'll be a huge climactic fight where everyone teams up to stop him as a send off to the series and we see the captains at the top of their game fighting as equals with Ichigo in the soul society against the biggest existential threat- but then it just goes back to the usual motions: Ichigo gets beat up, farts out some new powerups, wins while everyone else stands around. There are like a billion characters but most of them never do anything worth mentioning and it's always just about Ichigo doing everything and winning all the time and being the best and most coolest guy in the soul society.
This is one of the biggest issues with Kubo's writing. He's outright admitted that when he suffers writer's block or has no idea how to move a story forward, he just adds a whole bunch of new characters, and it shows. We've got massive cast herds that get little to no screen time or backstory, with most characters being tossed aside with little to no fanfare while the Soul Reapers, the largest cast herd with the biggest jobbers on the planet, continue to drag themselves along with nary any casualties, removing any dramatic stakes.

As for the whole "that wasn't even my real power" bullshit, this is also one of the biggest issues with Bleach's writing; characters pulling a new mechanical ability out of their ass during a fight that is exactly what they needed at that moment to turn the tide in their favor. People like to say Bleach is "Dragon Ball Z with swords" but DRAGONBALL Z FIGHTS WERE NEVER THAT RETARDED. Raditz was defeated by Goku pinning him down while Piccolo blasted through him with a Special Beam Canon, an ability that everybody already knew Piccolo had and Goku was specifically counting on him to use. Vegeta was defeated by the Spirit Bomb, an ability that Goku spent time learning to use and we saw him learn. Frieza was cut in half with a destructo disk then simply blasted by Goku. Cell was killed by a basic bitch Kamehameha wave. Buu was killed...by a spirit bomb. While every arc of Dragonball Z did introduce new abilities or power ups, like new levels of Super Saiyan or types of fusion, it was never these new abilities that ended the enemy. It was always a basic bitch ability that had already been long learned by the character, with the exception of Goku using the Spirit Bomb to defeat Vegeta.
Unironically, the Bleach abridged joke about "His spiritual pressure is so great its spiritual pressure is pressuring my spiritual pressure," makes more sense than whatever the fuck it's supposed to be in canon.
There are a few posts I remember but can't find about how Soul Society being completely Japanese themed despite being the afterlife for everyone is fucking retarded and how Ichigo shouldn't okay with everyone he saved being ruled over in the afterlife by a group of autistic autocratic faggots who base their leadership on whoever can kill better and have no qualms about the rest of the afterlife being a literal fucking slum.

Oh well
I will give Bleach one thing: it wasn't Jujutsu Kaisen
