A few weeks ago when the Nostalgia Critic review of Jurassic World was released I did not know the movie was getting a review. I had stopped watching NC on a regular basis months beforehand. The only way I found out was through a "spergy" post on Facebook. Because the movie came out recently, I assumed that the video in question was a Sibling Rivalry or whatever Doug uses for those type of "real reviews" and the poster was just buthurt over a different opnion on a beloved franchise. The next morning when I was rereading the post I realized that it was a NC video. I'm thinking "are you serious, you rushed out an NC episode without any movie footage to continue a rant you should have used the Bum for if you really wanted to."
TL;DR Most recent NC experience due to Facebook. NC jumps the shark. Only gave a crap for five seconds and the time it took to make this post.

Yeah. I'd like to see him make a list of re-imaginings, remakes, or adaptations that were better than the original. Like the 1970s remake of invasion of the body snatchers--I found it better than the original, which was good. I mean, he kind of does it with Old Versus New.

Some fringe part of me suspects that he doesn't know that Scarface is a remake.

To be fair to him, articles like that are riddled with butthurt from kids who just don't like him. That said the article still makes some points.

My philosophy is always to take ED articles with a grain of salt unless they're about some infamous nutbar with a long rap sheet of fetish-y or legit insane stuff.

I do take it with a grain of salt, but some of that stuff's pretty convincing. If there's one thing the ED crowd's good at, it's finding at least some verified dirt.

I really hope a good amount's exaggerated. Razorfist is funny as hell. It'd be a tragedy to see him wind up like Linkara.

I get the feeling some of it is. But I also get the feeling that things like the incomplete games, his stance on Asa's stalking and the fap video are fact.

Are they still reshooting thousands of times like the premiere?

I just have to say that the set is still just as terrible as ever, listen to that echo chamber. Look at that checkerboard floor and that background wall, it's four segments put together and painted like it came out of the 80's. Those shitty curtains look like they're made out of plastic.

Wait, what the fuck? At 9:04 he claims this is the first episode, what happened to the pilot? I also noticed that Brad is gone, did they fire him? Is that the reason why this is the first episode now?

They're probably handwaving it so they could only give Tom $100 rather than the $200 he should have got seeing as the contestants lost during the first episode if I remember rightly...

I watched a few minutes of the game show, and everyone involved just looks so uncomfortable, like they don't want to be there.

Are those contestants the same two guys from the pilot? If so, then God bless em for coming back to do this for what seems like the upteenth time.

No, these guys actually knew stuff and tended not to cheat.

Although they were still awkward as Hell.
