wait he said it in "the review must go on" he wouldn't do stuff in theaters and he made a point to wait untill man of steel came out on dvd before he reviewed it so has his viewers gone that fair down where he needed to review it when it was still in theaters or was it jut to show his "actors" can remake a movie

I think it was that. Doug never let go of Demo Reel (and never watched Garth Marenghi's Darkplace!) so I think this is him being stupid stealthy.

well yeah i could tell he didnt want to give up the idea of demo reel when he started putting stupid skits into the NC reviews but it seems like he really wants to prove to people to people that demo reel was good for no good reason other then he cant let it go when most of his fans have moved beyond it

Well that happens when you attract an audience of complete fucksticks, and replace their favourite show with an inferior product, they don't care if it improves, they will always hate it.

i can't really make a comment on which was better DR or the NC but the skits he put in the nostalgia critic were most of the time pretty stupid and just took you out the the review

Doug really has no one to blame but himself for this. He had so many chances to get his product right and foster a fanbase that wasn't made up of absolute cunts, and he fucked up every step of the way. Now RLM's eating his lunch and he's strapped to the boat anchor of a sinking ship next to his brother, Lewis, and Mike Michaud.

The last sounds he'll hear before he sinks beneath the Ocean is Lewis talking about the wonders of big black cocks.

Red Letter Media is other type of reviews/content. I could see these fuckers doing the same shit for decades and still be funny. Deep inside, Doug Walker only wanted to be a cross between Ebert and Daffy Duck. Seriousness/content with humour.

Yeah, you could tell (and already know if you saw his honest review of it, if i'm not confusing that part, he did the sibling rivalry thing about it right? Too lazy to check it up.) he was mostly just pissed off about his videos being taken down by the eeeevul coprofagation of teh Hollywood lately. I chuckled a bit to some things but yeah... it fell flat.

Aparantly, he actually did a review of Jurrassic Park (which I refused to see because he hates Jeff Goldblum, but Ian Malcolm is the best part in addition to the fucking still amazing dinosaur effects! Chaos Theory is fucking sexy!) where I think he nitpicked it, and questioned the logic, but still said it was a classic. I mean, there's such a thing as suspension of disbelief. I think he did it to sound smart, or balanced, or something.

Sometimes, he comes off as trying to be all-knowing, like he is the ultimate reviewer and his opinion is the right one.

Honestly, I'm going to make a list of movies he "reviewed" that I actually liked.

Casper (I liked the look of it, the effects, and it actually is kind of heartbreaking)

Tank Girl (Lori Petty owns the role, she's annoying, but I honestly think it's a coping mechanism for dealing with the world they live in, I love the look of it, Malcolm McDowell is awesome, the kangaroo effects are cool, it has a lot of genuinely funny bits, and the dance number, despite being out of place, was awesome. Then again, I love camp and inappropriate musical numbers)

Drop Dead Fred (He declared this the 2nd worst movie he reviewed. But during the review, he neglects to mention certain plot points, like the lead character suffering from an emotionally abusive mother, the fact she feels that she needs to get back with her cheating husband because she has no backbone and is afraid to be alone and has been raised to believe that she needs a prince charming in her life, and the fact that imaginary friends in this movie are real, so she isn't fully psychotic. As well, Fred is supposed to be annoying. He's an imaginary friend created by a six year old)

Independence Day (It's silly, implausible, but one of my favorite summer blockbusters, and you do not mock the 'blum).
 
Don't know if anyone mentioned her, but the Fanfic Critic, while not a reviewer of movies or video games, does rip off the Nostalgia Critic, got her own ED page, and is generally unpleasant to watch. She also hates criticism.

It is oozing with butthurt. He "criticized" Hollywood (not a specific company or person, just Hollywood) for "making themselves look desperate & unprofessional" by removing illegally published copies of their content (his reviews) from Youtube, then moving on to criticize the apparent "irony" of Hollywood protecting their free speech, all the while not realizing the actual irony of becoming an activist stomping his feet in retaliation self entitlement to the evil corporations his fans because he's not allowed to make money off of other people's films. Nothing desperate or immature about that. No sir, not at all.

He even tried to argue that Hollywood should prioritize protecting their personal image over protecting their content, because acting like doormats to a couple of faggots running a shitty webshow is clearly more important than stomping a mudhole in said faggots for violating their copyrights.

He then had the cojones butthurt to compare his minor problems to the likes of SOPA, because that's a totally proportionate comparison. He also compares himself to Napster, because he's a complete moron. He literally just defended piracy software and compared himself to it.

He justified the legal actions taken against him while claiming it was unjustified. This is literally the worst PR to allegedly bad PR I've ever seen.

The best part however is that he posits that the actual reason why his reviews are being pulled is because the copyright holders didn't like his opinion even after mentioning he gave a positive opinion in certain reviews that were pulled. That bloated self importance. Now he's doing a spite review on Jurassic World as revenge because that's not at all unprofessional or desperate.

Is Doug Walker fucking retarded?

Who the fuck needs a fanfiction critic? Isn't that like making a career of going into people's houses and criticizing their kids' art on the refrigerator?

A FanficCritic that hates criticism could be a good concept for a comedy mocking angry reviewers in general if I didn't know that most probably she is deadly serious about it

She actually did a review of Sonichu, but it's fucking awful. She constantly nitpicks the spelling errors and goes on and on about said spelling errors.


Yes. Over 40 minutes. If I remember correctly, this only covers the first issue, or at least the first episode. DStecks reviewed the first episode in less than half the time, and Riiser of the Webcomic Relief did it in even less time.

Oh, and note she disabled comments.
 
only thing i know about Fanfic critic is that stuff she got into with blackbustercritic and she did a shitty lp of fire red that's about it im not sure if its worth watching one of her videos
