Speaking of, anyone saw the 1975 anime movie?
Disney's version took quite a lot of ideas from it
You rely think Disney would do that, just rip off an older anime that western audiences aren't familiar with?

What THE...? Disney already has the LION share in creative designs! They are the KING!You rely think Disney would do that, just rip off an older anime that western audiences aren't familiar with?
I love how he can't be bothered to remember the names of the rest of the aliens.Again with his autistic idea that kids would like to see a movie dealing with rent, taxes, adoption, etc etc.

Don't get the appeal of Lilo. She was too much of a brat.
And he's trying to defend himself by saying it's not the worst Disney sequel.Doug got really really angry in this one. Like Mr Enter levels of angry.

I always looked for it at the aliens, and less the relationship of the sisters, considering the aliens were kind of the point of the films and TV series. He should've gotten that angry over all the other sequels tbh.
To him, Lilo and Stitch is only about the sisters dealing about "real life" issues like taxes, adoption, jobs...That's what little kids look for in movies!
His criticisms for Stitch The Movie were awful. He's a dumbass; the movie does not concern Lilo or her family, it concerns Stitch's brethren and the race to collect them all before the gerbil hamster thingy. So why would the film focus on the human characters? There's no reason too, plus it was a backdoor pilot to the Lilo and Stitch series anyways so it really shouldn't have made him feel that disappointed.
I'll be amazed if he can curb it, but something tells me that won't happen. And I also wonder how he'll react to Lilo's voice being changed for it, considering her usual actress was recording the series at that time.Waiting to see what he thinks of 'Stitch has a glitch' which is mostly considered the 'real' sequel but guarantee he'll find fault with the movie focusing more on Stitch again since, surprise shock horror, little kids are more interested in the cute blue koala alien than the little girl.
It'd actually be interesting to see whether he likes it more considering they really do play up the concept of the two acting like siblings in this one and Lilo is given some more focus.....buuut I won't hold hope he won't just write it off as her being another 'Disney kid' because shes not 100% weird again.I'll be amazed if he can curb it, but something tells me that won't happen. And I also wonder how he'll react to Lilo's voice being changed for it, considering her usual actress was recording the series at that time.
What's his deal with that? Yeah sure the characters aren't really singing, but the songs Phil Collins sings for Tarzan were pretty good. They were memorable at least. And once again he throws an autistic tantrum against Phil Collins...To the surprise of no one.
Has Doug even acknowledged there was a series? If not I doubt he even knows about it given his usual lack of research. And I also wonder how he'll react to Lilo's voice being changed for it, considering her usual actress was recording the series at that time.
He did briefly in the Stitch review by showing the show's title card. But he didn't mention it directly.Has Doug even acknowledged there was a series? If not I doubt he even knows about it given his usual lack of research.
He did the first 12 mcu films and all the star wars films minus the clone wars film last december for Disneycember, though I suspose he could do the new ones that come out if he runs out of films to do in a month.I just realized with Disney owning Marvel and Star Wars, does that mean Doug will be covering them in future Decembers? Of course, that's assuming he's still around and has an audience![]()
