That's probably where Doug got the idea from; only he fucked up the idea and gimmick. Whammies were basically the equivalent of the bankruptcy or lose a turn spot on the Wheel of Fortune last I checked.

Haha, I like to think that youtube is doing this on purpose because Doug and co. are gigantic asshats who don't know how to run a business and can no longer hide behind blip's wall of copyright apathy.

Fixed that for you. Literally everything from this..."game show" is stolen. Doug wanted to be the next Marc Summers so bad, but he's just a sad man fucking around in a dollar store set-up. His interactions with people are so unnatural, I really can't understand how his fans watch this shit without cringing.

Still it's nice to see Doug and his cohorts getting pissy over things the should have known about all along. Even if YouTube's just as much to blame as they are.

I'd say they're probably used to it by this point. As none of Doug's interactions with anyone (be it with random people, his CA costars or even his own "characters") have ever sounded normal.

Though I get the feeling that autism may be involved.

That was different. The video was taken down because of direct complaints from Wiseau himself. The current takedowns are all generated by either robots or trolls.

What Doug should do now is get people over to Vimeo, like what that useless cuck Todd has been doing with his own pulled videos.

Nah, that was Tommy himself. Thought to be fair, he (both Doug and Tommy, actually) did kinda deserve it.

I was gonna say, the only instance (that I know of) a video was purposely taken down when on blip was The Room. Other than that, everyone at Channel Awesome was relatively free to do whatever they wanted with other's content. I honestly think youtube's policies are fucked too, and the only CA person who's media should 100% be taken down is Linkara since he literally reads entire comics on screen.

Fair. But in order to go through the comic, you have to put up with either the sound of Lewis's voice, or worse yet, his appearance.

Isn't that punishment enough?

Perhaps, but in some cases, it's probably better if they're removed. Doubly so since Lewis's videos are probably the most copyright infringing out of all of them (The Cybermats, Power Ranger crap, the comics themselves and clips from other shows).

I would not be surprised if it happened somewhere down the line.

And if/when that day happens, I will be there with the biggest bucket of popcorn I can find. Linkara is only entertaining when he's belligerently demanding things he thinks he's entitled too.
