Let's have a look back at Spoony at the height of his popularity.

Isn't Lindsay the one who suggested this skit?

She seems to be having trouble stopping herself from laughing her ass off. A far cry from modern Lindsay.
Well at this time, Noah was in a better place. He was making actual content, was in a relationship with Scarlet, and in a pretty good place mental wise. We know after his relationship with Scarlet ended, Noah went off the deep end. Noah eventually got on meds, and was fine for a while until he stopped producing content. He probably will never create content again unless his Patreon dips more and more into the red. It's sad actually, since Noah actually can dissect games rather well, looking at his excellent Ultima retrospective for instance. Nowadays he just spergs on Twitter 24/7.

Yeah, I've seen a few conservative films and most of them are just terrible. It's because they're usually just about the same thing. Either:

A) Very persecuted Christian minority in the United States must fight against the very loud and evil left wing
B) Someone has cancer/other illness and can only be cured through god

God's Not Dead is just an awful movie. Not even on the level of awful that love like Troll 2 or something like The Room. Any person even floating outside the shell of far right conservatism will know those movies are fucking terrible pieces of badly made propaganda.

Reviewing bad, extremely bigoted and one-sided faith-based films doesn't make you a SJW. It depends on how you review it. Brad seemed amused by it. If it was SJW he wouldn't be composed as the Snob, and he'd be foaming at the mouth. And the critiques he makes are not based off of religion but based off of character, story, acting--like he'd do any movie. And technically, these do fall into a genre he does do--exploitation films. They're Christ-ploitation films.

Even if they are pretty bad movies in terms of propaganda pieces (Kevin Sorbo as the cartoonishly evil villain who gets a last-minute redemption), I would be a little hard-pressed to listen to someone like Brad, because it would be like an avowed racist talking about how terrible The Wiz is...even if it is a bad movie, you get the feeling that it would be reviewed badly no matter what due to existing prejudices.

Propaganda pieces can have merit in their own right, like The Birth of a Nation being considered a cinematic masterpiece while also being a terrifically racist piece promoting the KKK. I'm not saying that GDN is exactly good cinema but it shouldn't be necessarily "crucified" for promoting a certain point of view.

Something to keep in mind here is that Brad does come from a Christian background (including 12? years of private faith-based education). IMO, that added perspective gives him a greater understanding than a lot of us of how to approach these films, and I feel slightly weird calling him prejudicial for pointing out the ways in which these movies pervert Christian teachings to fit an agenda. Feel free to disagree though, by all means.

Also worth noting a fair few Christian publications thought God's Not Dead was a complete piece of shit.

I didn't say that Brad was an SJW. I like Brad's reviews, I think his videos are pretty much the only thing worth watching nowadays on the plague center that is Channel Awesome.

Fair enough, but he considers himself agnostic now, which just seems like a softer version of the people that have faith-based backgrounds grow up to be rabid atheists with an axe to grind, and of course, whatever his background is doesn't disqualify him from reviewing movies ("oh, you can't give this movie a poor review because you're white/straight/male, you don't understand it")

Also a fair point. And you're right, it doesn't disqualify him. If there was any confusion, what I was getting at was: because Brad has a faith-based background, he has firsthand knowledge of the cultural context behind these films, which helps create a more nuanced review than if he were completely uninformed.

Obviously anybody can review anything as long as they're at least willing to familiarize themselves with the subject. Because otherwise you get bullshit like whenever Doug tries to review anime and has nothing to say beyond "haha this is weird".

Man, you never thought someone's Twitter feed could resemble Tumblr more than Tumblr.

She's a few Jack Daniels away from a Twitter sperg out, I can feel it.

If she ever loses her RL job, I want to be there when the genie shackles come off.

Eh, she's not identifying as an aporagender demiromantic foxkin, so it's not peak Tumblr.

Breasts are just for sexual gratification? There goes a couple hundred thousand years of biology out the window.

I'm more amazed Todd still keeps following her. Especially if this is what she goes on and on about.

The one thing I'm more optimistic about than her ragequiting the internet, is her backstabbing Todd somehow.

He's basically Lindays kept slave, he takes care of her pets, listens to her sperg out, and carries her to bed after shes finished off two bottles of vodka. Then he gets to listen to his ex get pounded from behind in the next room by the new guy. But remember, he's a Feminist ally! Aside from literally stabbing him what else can you do to a guy?

Actually I take the stabbing comment back, I'd probably welcome a stabbing in that situation.

So I take it Todd's only form of pleasure is jerking it to said pounding, right? There's no way in hell I believe he's had any active sex life beyond that.

Assuming he even jacks off, considering he's a "feminist" after all. Still would love to see Lindsey say something bad about her cuckbuddy and cause a shit storm of epic proportion.
