STOCKHOLM

Swedish researchers this week unveiled burial costumes in graves from the Viking Age with the words ‘Allah’ and ‘Ali’ written on them.

Muslims use the word Allah for god, while Ali is the name of Prophet Muhammad’s cousin and son-in-law.

The Vikings could be influenced by Islam and "the idea of an eternal life in paradise after death," Annika Larsson, a researcher in textile archaeology at Uppsala University, told Anadolu Agency on Friday.

The words which appeared as ancient Arabic script’s Kufic characters were found in silk costumes in boat-graves as well as in chamber graves in Sweden's Birka, the historic Viking city.

"In the Quran, it is written that the inhabitants of paradise will wear garments of silk, which along with the text band’s inscriptions may explain the widespread occurrence of silk in Viking Age graves," the researcher said in an earlier statement.

Similar Kufic characters were also found in mosaics on burial monuments and mausoleums, primarily in Central Asia, the university said in a statement.

In 2015, Swedish researchers at Stockholm University also discovered a ninth century ring in a Viking grave with an inscription that says ‘for Allah’ or ‘to Allah’.

I know i must sound like a conspiracy theorist.

But i cant avoid but to think this effort to say Europeans were actually Muslim and black in the ancient history, is a political move to normalize mass imigration and multiculturalism

One easy way to shit on that is asking "Then where did white people come from" and why other ancient civilizations didn't have similar stuff going on. "That's racist" or jumping straight implying white people being weird sub-humans who poofed into existence is not an answer.

There are Viking runes carved into a balustrade in the Haiga Sophia in Istanbul, from a warrior who was watching some ceremony.

Some Spanish youtuber did a video that was all "We have muslim blood and SHIIIET" and i have no idea if they did it for the same purposes. To normalize arabs living in Europe?

Bc all that smugness worked wonders for that asshole in the truck...

Because these people are mentally ill.

Being Swedish or whatever to them is the worst possible thing they can be. They have been brainwashed into believing that it's better to be anything foreign than to be themselves.
 
Vikings traded all over the place. They stole from everyone. They also took slaves from all over the place. There was an article in Nat. Geo awhile ago about christian symbols being found way pre-conversion. Slaves, trade, plunder.

they already tried that once. they discovered a norseman's buried corpse and it had an arabic ring on it that he totally may not have had stolen during a raid.

Baghdad was a center of world trade for 6 centuries, when the Vikings reached Baghdad they embraced trade with them, Muslim artifacts could be found in some Nordic nations due to said trade similar to how there's Buddha statues in Nordic nations because of their trade with India.

They're gonna believe that "Honda" was a name of a deity when they uncover all the room-sized shrines that everyone had in their house and see how it was located always at the center of the room-sized shrines in addition to the room-sized shrines being full of products designed to take care of it in addition to seeing pictures of it with hot women next to it everywhere where people shopped.
 
Considering how many kids are conceived in the backseat of cars, deciding it was a fertility goddess wouldn't necessarily be INACCURATE.

Muslims did actually rule a large part of Spain at one time. Treatment of non-Muslims varied during different time periods. (Not that being a Jew in Christian Spain would've been any better.)
