Honestly I don't know much about prison in Asia but I believe the "prison bitch" thing is mostly an American meme.

It's a simple fucking concept, really. Especially the drugs part, even civilized asian countries will ream your ass when it comes to that. Thailand pre-legalization was going crazy on foreigners in tourist spots when they were smoking pot there and got caught, even post-legalization any other kind of drug possession or usage will send your ass to their hell prisons. I am not too sure about how it is in Singapore but i know in Japan just having illicit substances in your system is a criminal offense and the police over there, despite their general ineptitude, will take you in if they suspect you're hopped up on goofballs and acting out in public and they will make a blood test wether you consent to it or not.
