I don't know shit about cars, so maybe someone more savvy can explain: is it normal to have a car that's only a few years old have that kind of issue? The only time I've come across cars that were undrivable/ that expensive to fix was after they were at least around 15-20 years old.
Im sure Becky and Amber didn't take excellent care of the car, but exactly how much neglect or maintenance avoidance would cause this?
More than likely, they bought that used car based off it's aesthetics. I would assume that the car, being used, probably had pre-existing issues that weren't dealt with during the previous owners usage. The previous owner probably wasn't willing to pay to fix the issues (especially if they're transmission issues) and ended up trading in the car to get a newer, reliable one.
If Amber had half a brain, she would've taken someone with her that has sound, professional experience with cars/mechanics in general to come check out the cars they were thinking about purchasing. But we all know, she probably had two requirements: 1. can she fit in the front seat, 2. omg lyke is it cuuuuuuuuuuute and aesthetically pleasing?!
Think about it. The people who sold her this vehicle probably saw those two half-wit fatties walking towards their lot and thought, "here we go boys, another couple of Grade A suckers!"
