I get almost anyone but her loving Halloween. Kids like to dress up and eat candy. Teenagers like Halloween parties. College kids like dressing up and going to clubs and bars. Parents and grandparents like seeing babies dressed up for their first Halloween and watching kids having fun. But what does someone like Amber get out of Halloween that she can't get the rest of the year? Candy? Buying junk? Wearing ill-fitting clothing? Paying Destiny to hang out with her?

Excellent advice. Amber needs to be on the shine for a while anyway. Let her get her mental type style sorted in relative peace. She needs it. Sis really isn’t kicking out anything worth watching anyway. Hasn’t for a long time.
 
Holloween is not something specific for my land.
Tell me please what is Amber celbrating anyway? She is not a child, she dose not go out, she is not religious. I doubt she delays the consumption of certain foods for feast days.
Call me old style... but she just celebrates nothing in a costume.
I dont have a full year yet of Amber curiosity. I ask the old ones what should I expect.?

IMHO, Halloween to her means a specific excuse to hoard/shop a niche category of items to fawn over, paw/grope in stores, exclaim being "kuh-yoot", and get that dopamine rush showing off "new things" and shuffling around the detritus in her habitat to give an appearance of "change", be it attributed to the season or just time in general as clearly, every day is the same for her otherwise.

And yes, the bonus of dressing up in an ill-fitting "costume" follows along those same lines, with the bonus of not being EXPECTED to ever wear/see that purchase ever again, unlike all the Torrid hauls of tarps that are never seen nor heard from again and she gets called out for. I'd add in she "gets to be someone else" by wearing a costume, but she's likely too much of a narc to get enjoyment at being anything but Amberlynn Reid, Daintiest of Gorls.

(Plus, her binging candies are on SALE, in BULK. Especially after November 1st.)
 
Given she's still basically a 14 year old goth mall-rat in the 600 pound body of a 30 year old hambeast, she thinks that making a big deal of Halloween is super-cute and makes her oh-so quirky and interesting. Like all the fat girls who call themselves wiccans.

She hasn't cut her hair because:
A. There is no way she can fit in a salon/barber chair
or
B. She's afraid to cut it herself because she'll fuck it up and won't be able to get it fixed (see A)
 
She also associates long hair with femininity and is scared of becoming a genderless blob. In the hoodie try-on Torrid haul, I imagine that it would be hard to tell which she is, with no prior knowledge. She's also said she thinks shorter hair doesn't look good on fat people.

It's quite remarkable when ham planets get to a certain weight they pretty much lose all the defining qualities of their faces. They either look weird and smooth and virtually featureless or they are squashed in weird places due to fat deposits ala the Slaton sisters. Either way, they might as well be a mutant Batman villain at that point. Depending on the type, I propose the names: "Smoothor" for the smooth type and "Squishlard" for the fat deposit type.

Fat is nature's botox filler. A part of me does want Amber to lose drastic weight, if not just to see the 30 year old + face sag. She will have to tighten the poop bun to pull her facial skin back.

judging from other deathfats (Chantal, Jen, Tammy) all of their hair starts to thin to the point it's basically bald in front. if AL doesn't cut her hair by 40 it's going to look like a fullet/mullet , a clip on bun. or like those bald guys that still have a pony tail.
