She doesn't even need anything. She could wipe her ass on a different torrid tarp every day for six months and still have plenty to spare. She has enough fat reserves to ride out the next five apocalyptic pandemics without a crumb of food.

She's like never going to die. I'm starting to get Ashley Isaacs vibes here. Everytime we mention her impending death it adds 89 months to her lifespan.

I have to remind myself, this is honestly her first genuine national/international crisis... if she's vague posting about the pandemic. I'm not counting 9-11 because she was a child. I'm not trashing millennials here; every generation seems to feel obligated to wail & gnash their teeth at how weak, feeble & ungrounded the next generation is but that's been done since written histories started being found & translated & has little basis in fact.

Most millennials & younger new adults will adjust to whatever the new realities prove to be, just fine. We're all worried about certain friends & loved ones specifically & nobody knows what's going to happen. We don't like what we can't anticipate & plan for. The younger you are, the more adaptable you usually are; nothing to sneeze at right now.

But when it comes to Amber, if there's a way to "do a pandemic wrong", she's going to find it. She's going to find plenty of ways to be dumb in the face of this; not to mention self-absorbed. This is a great start - if she IS referring to the pandemic. It's an ego-driven: "Oh look at ME. Nobody looks as worried & concerned as ME."

If she's referring to personal life stuff, like maybe she is newly single - piss off with that, Amber. In the grand scheme of things, especially now... nobody cares about your inner peace.
 
I can almost see the look on Ricky's face when the food shortages happen and Amber starts eyeing him like a lean and dainty mutton chop
 
Yes, Amber, the pandemic is just beginning!

If the stores don't get restocked and people quit doing panic runs on them, that's going to take a toll on Amber's mental, which as we know, is scary. I can imagine her easily eating the entire household's food in a day if she gets freaked out enough.
 
But how will AL cope with Walmart being closed from 11 pm-6 am??? That’s when she has to send Necky out for the binge monster’s precious Reese’s.

Part of me wants to see how Amber reacts if she has to deal with real restriction/hunger. This woman hasn't felt real hunger since forever or maybe never. All her hunger is emotional.
