This is what makes her constantly saying she is losing weight so entertainting.
 
I just thought about a good comparison to use to further elaborate on my view of thinking:

I was one of the many fans of Eugenia Cooney who begged her for years to go to inpatient. I never gave up on her and always tried to look for ways to get her help alongside the other fans. But I'm not gonna spare any amount of that same sympathy and effort into Amber.
Why? Because Eugenia actually has something to offer to this world. She's sweet and caring and genuinely wants to help people. Her videos make a lot of people happy, and unlike Amber she actually has a personality.
Amber meanwhile leeches off of everyone around her, treats her animals like shit, and has probably caused a good amount of ozone damage all on her own. The only reason people watch her is to be mad, she's narcissistic and possibly a sociopath and doesn't have any aspirations or even a pleasant personality. What are even her redeeming qualities then? For what reason should I care about her?
I hope this doesn't come off as MOTI, I'm just trying to illustrate my opinions.

Not necessarily pathological eating, but a disordered way of thinking. But, isn't disordered eating a way of being a bit out of control? I do tend to believe that she is some sort of food addict and addicts don't easily hand over control either. And the failure rate for addicts is high for that reason alone.

Do you think addiction is a choice? I tend to think so, but I also think it's a disease that an addict can choose to treat if they admit that they have a problem.

That being said, I bet she is a loathsome double-standard hypocrite about "being her own boss." I bet she can't stand people who refuse to surrender control to her.
 
She will never go to an inpatient weight loss clinic on her own volition, unless it is the only way she can lose some weight before bariatric surgery. However, she will need to agree to change her eating habits, otherwise, the surgery will not be successful.

This is why I do not believe she wants to lose weight. She still wants to eat as much as she wants. None of the new year resolutions said “wants to eat less”. Portion control is not part of her vocabulary.

The goal shouldn't be to get skinnier, it should be fixing your issues with food that have led you to become 600lbs, and once you do that you just automatically lose weight as well.
But Amber is ridiculously vain, and in her eyes the main problem with being fat is that obesity isn't pretty, not that it's unhealthy. I totally believe that if there was a way to eat 10,000 calories every day and look skinny, but still keep the same health problems you have as an obese person (high blood pressure, low mobility, etc) Amber wouldn't give a shit and will continue eating herself to death. (I mean, not that she gives a shit now, and she will still eat herself to death, but you get what I mean).

Actually, one of her news years resolutions was weird AF to me because she said she wants to be skinnier so that she wouldn't have to buy/eat so much food... I had to rewind to make sure I heard her properly. Basically admitting that she wont fix her eating UNTIL she is already at a lower weight I guess?

She walks the line between psychopathy and sociopathy - she has the manipulation of the pyschopath down, with the erratic nature of the sociopath. Any way you slice it, I think she has most of the signs of antisocial personality disorder.

Disordered eating can be controlled, though. See Eugenia Cooney, as mentioned above, or any of the successful people on MSHPL. That takes effort, however, and we all know what Big Al thinks about effort.

I'll probably get shit for this, but I think every addict except newborns makes a choice that begins their path. Some of them want to find the path back. Others don't. And while I feel badly for those who walk into the heart of the monster, if they reject help offered them and have no intention of walking out, then I cease caring. If they are so uncaring about themselves or the people around them, then it makes no sense for me to waste my energy caring.

And that's why I would shed no tear for her or people like her, Being "your own boss" is great and all, but not allowing others to do the same makes you a piece of shit. Also, part of "being your own boss" is knowing when to listen to those who actually know better than you and getting second opinions when need be. Listening to good counsel. Those things can actually help get BETTER at being your own boss.

But, no, ALR will likely not realize that. It's why so many people like her end up alienating others, things slip away, and they tend to end badly. Mostly self-fullfilling too.

Honestly, I'm hoping that he has an entire portfolio of shots or videos like that. Hes just waiting for the right time to release all the goods. I can see that 1000%. But doing it now would be suicide and we dont know whats going on with becky, so he probably doesnt want to fuck her over. When she inevitably burns her bridges with them, I bet, he will jump at the opportunity.

I watch her because she makes me laugh. I don't really care if she loses the weight or not. She's going to do whatever she wants, there's no point in getting emotionally invested in the outcome.
 
She's been a fatty all her life. And not just minor overweight or baby fat- she's been morbidly obese all her life.
I don't ever see her changing her path. She knows how and what to do to fix it but she never will.
She's too narcissistic.
She'd be better off making funeral arrangements and mukbanging to hell and back.

I don't think anything will wake her up.
 
Is it normal that whenever she opens her mouth I expect to hear a cow moo or pig squealing?

Edit: I don't know shit about video editing but I'd love to see a compilation of exactly that. Her talking with pig squeals dubbed over it.
