You don't get to be 600lbs with a weeny self-control issue, lmao. Saying the eating is pathological is describing a certain pattern of manipulative and destructive behaviours that need to be addressed, not saying it's an external condition out of her control - pathological eating is not a disease. Dr Now talks about pathological eating often, and it's because all his patients do it, and it's what's behind their lies to his face about what they ate. They lie to protect the extreme behaviour and to keep doing it.I don't really believe she has any pathological eating issues - disordered eating, maybe. But I would argue that she is entirely in control of her situation (yeeessss). She could choose to do something about it, but does not.
Oly Al is delusional enough to think she's merely one diet away from sorting her weight out. The weightloss doctor tested this thesis and he, and we, know the answer to it.
And this is why childhood obesity should be recognised as abuse/neglect.She's been a fatty all her life. And not just minor overweight or baby fat- she's been morbidly obese all her life.
