You don't get to be 600lbs with a weeny self-control issue, lmao. Saying the eating is pathological is describing a certain pattern of manipulative and destructive behaviours that need to be addressed, not saying it's an external condition out of her control - pathological eating is not a disease. Dr Now talks about pathological eating often, and it's because all his patients do it, and it's what's behind their lies to his face about what they ate. They lie to protect the extreme behaviour and to keep doing it.

Oly Al is delusional enough to think she's merely one diet away from sorting her weight out. The weightloss doctor tested this thesis and he, and we, know the answer to it.

People do all sorts of stupid, self-detrimental things because they are impulsive and cannot control themselves. Since Big Al will never consent to real pysch evaluations, I suppose we'll never know.

Amber has been obese since primary school. This is not something that she developed a few year back. Now, with the YT money, she can eat as much as she wants. In the past, she was restricted by a lack of fund and other restrictions, which is why she lost 89 lbs. It is clear that the only way she can lose weight is through both psychological and nutritional counseling. You are right that she will never subject herself to such counseling because she does not believe that there is anything wrong with her. This is also why she is not getting health insurance because she does not think that there is anything wrong with her physically. She thinks that all her present illness are just run-of-the-mill ones that if only doctors could listen to her, they could be easily resolved. She thinks that she is as healthy as any other 30 yo.

Seems like the side-eye is just to help keep track of her lahs. She does it most in the videos where she explains or denies shit, otherwise when it comes to things you can’t really lie about like wommart hauls she’s able to look at the camera for the most part.

Her mom did have cancer, Amberlynn's aunt corroborates this. Can't help you with the specific video. She's mentioned it several times.
 
Amber wants to lose weight, she just doesn't want to put in the effort required. She wants to eat a salad and wake up the next day and all the weight be gone so she can go back to eating what she really wants. Typical fatty logic. Just like the ones who think WLS is some magical thing that makes the weight fall off while they continue to live a shitty lifestyle.

She's gets a big rush fantasizing about how amazing her life will be once she loses weight and gets off on planning every little detail along the way, but once she realizes, yet again for the 337374th time, that she actually has to commit to it and have some willpower and self control she just gives up. This is why the cycle exists.

She really does have some serious mental issues, and needs to get them fixed before anything can happen. She's been emotionally traumatized from a young age and uses food to cope and doesn't really see an issue with what she's doing because food = happy & safe. She really just does not care about herself or her life enough to get proper help, and instead cares way too much about how others see her and what they think. Can't go get help or admit to a shitty lifestyle because it prove all of us big meanie haydurs right.

Yeah Amber, our opinions of you are so much more important than saving your own life.

The most contreverial part of discussing this lazy fatass is trying to figure out who is to blame more. On one hand you have her shit parents who ;et her continue to be this morbidly obese. On the other hand, one could make the argument that based on what repeating behaviors we have seen that her own problems are self-inflicted.

It seems she's never matured past preteen state of mind.
She fails to see she's been an adult for 11 years. That's plenty of time to realize what she's doing to herself.
Her narcissism plays a big part.

I'm her height but normal weight, and I tried walking like I imagine she would have too, her legs being so thick despite bone structure, and it actually hurt pretty quickly. Maybe just cause my body isnt used to having to walk like that, but, its horrifying to imagine being in that body... those tree trunk legs dont even look real... how is she still mobile? I am morbidly curious about how living in that body would feel

Thank god. At least. She has a beautiful face to make up for her grotesque body...

If Amber was still a child, the blame would be 100% on the parents. But Amber is not a minor and hasn't been a minor for 11 years. At some point you gotta stop blaming the circumstances you grew up in and work to better yourself.

It's not her fault for going down this path, but it is her fault for staying in this path.
