I actually do not care if she is 600 lbs or not. For her height, she need to be 170 lbs or under to have a BMI of less than 30. That should be her goal, not just losing 25 to 50 lbs. She should do it with the help of medical specialists. Losing 50 lbs won’t solve her lymphoma, or other ailments she is having now. Any injuries at her weight might disable her completely if it does not kill her first.
Most people would support her if she had a realistic plan. We all know that it would not be easy, but she would have a lot of positive comments and supports in her journey.

I've always thought that if Amberlynn was less narcissistic and more willing to be honest and open about her life it would make for some compelling viewing. Shows like MSHPL show WLS from a very skewed perspective; what the viewer sees is very much about what the TLC production and editing teams chose to show. There's a lot of the really typical 'lazy-stupid-fat-pig' bias at play in the show, and while many of the show's participants definitely fit the tropes, it's a shame that they chose not to delve into the relationships that many seriously broken and damaged people have with food addiction,
