In it, he talks some more about the journalist. He said that she interviewed him and Amber (after she finally contacted the journalist back - sounds like Amber was being a flake about it). Then he said that the journalist told him that she had some questions for YouTube: specifically why Amber was allowed to be monetized for the type of content she uploaded. The two videos that the journalist brought to YouTube's attention? The
shrimp mukbang video (EDIT: sorry, I think it was actually the rotisserie chicken mukbang) and the I ate 5,000 calories video - both which were demonetized last year around that time. (Sidenote - I find it hilarious how when this was happening, Amber was acting like she was a celebrity doing an interview, unfairly judged for her size.... but in reality it seems like the journalist had already read Amber for the toxic and troublesome character she actually was. Talk about lack of awareness.)
Also, for those who aren't familiar with him, meet
John David Glaude. AKA "Obese2Beast" AKA "John Glaude Van Damme" AKA "2Nice4YouTube" (okay, okay, I made the last two up). He got sucked into the Amberverse back in 2019 when Amber contacted him for help - or at least he *thought* it was to help her. She just used him for free channel content and dragged him through the mud. (And for the record, Amber also contacted "The Angry Bald Man" AKA Alan Roberts, but he saw through her shit and basically told her that she's beyond a diet "journey", and to cut the bullshit and go to in-patient).
ANYWAY, John has recently made a video on this (

Invidious - ignore his dramatic title). In the video, he stated that it seems like even showing her content in his videos gets him demonetized.
And finally, don't forget Sabine Davis from "Just My 2 Cents" (D. 2024, RIP). She was a reactor and
was monetized (and I believe also tried to get donations through "Ko-Fi"), but she was different. Rather than just doing it for money, she made it her personal mission to expose Amber for the type of person she was and to get her channel demonetized. She regularily talked about reporting Amber's channel, and was always very open about her intentions with Amber (which were fueled from having her and her daughter's life upturned in the past by a psychopath). And she was around since Amber's channel peak. It was her and that Pam lady who led that unsubbing event Shrimpgate in 2019. Former fans of her can still be found in the comments sections of other reactors, saying things like "I've reported Amber 113 times this year alone!".
I mention all of that because although Occam's Razor would imply that what happened was:

I'm not so sure that's how it happened. At a conservative count, Amber has likely received tens of thousands of reports on her videos - probably thousands per year for more than the last half-decade. Amber has a savage and dedicated anti-fan base who will automatically report EVERYTHING she uploads. AND, she may have received even MORE than that in the last year after she had those two videos removed and Haydur Nation smelled blood in the water. YouTube didn't listen. They never listened. They never cared because they never really had a reason to. Her audience was mass-reporting around the time that the journalist came along, and it was only after the journalist pointed something out did YouTube finally react.
I mean, MAYBE the last rounds of reports caused someone to look and say "Oh shit. Yeah, we were supposed to do something about that channel". But she's been on their radar for years, and it was only a matter of time before YouTube just demonetized her channel themselves without provocation. Especially with the huge lawsuit going on.
TL; DR: Redditards doing victory laps for something they likely didn't actually accomplish.
You'd think she would have learned this lesson back in early 2021 when she was desperately trying to sell all of her "personal collections" due to financial worry. Yet all she did was rebuild the collections again (despite her claiming that she could see her CPM steadily dropping).
Ambo is so dumb, she reminds me of those robot dog toys that have been around for the last 5 decades or so. You flip the switch on their tummy and they bark while waddling in a straight line, only to inevitably get stuck in a corner. Or fall down a flight of stairs where they land on their side, continuing to bark and move their legs. There is truly *NOTHING* in that massive head other than basic automatic behavioural routines.

I am really curious though, what are the chances methmom is going to let her move in? I'm sure she will pull the "you owe me" thing and guilt her but we all know it will be a disaster. Or what about Grandma? She kicked her ass out years ago and never had contact with her until she waddled her fat ass into Oklahoma because she had nowhere else to go.
I'm super curious about this, too. On one hand, she'll be throwing her terrible childhood in their faces, guilt-tripping about her physical and mental health, and even weaponizing Kristine's born-again Christian status re: forgiveness and charity. On the OTHER HAND, I'm sure they remember how they had to plan to throw her out while she was out of state visiting Casey, because they KNEW if they tried it while she was in OK, Amber would invoke squatter's rights and they'd have a huge battle trying to get her out.
