I'm no expert in cameo but it seems to be to be a non-replenishing market. Unlike her memberships which is a monthly subscription, cameos are like a one and done type deal. I can't imagine very many repeat customers. So unless fat amber plans on mass advertisement, the cameo well is going to be dried up fairly quickly especially at her fucking hilarious prices.

Putting in the work to advertise, planning out an actual sustainable profit margin business model, and putting in the actual effort necessary to make $30 cameos worth purchasing... all too much work for our dainty gowrl. She barely had enough effort to come live once a week for 40 minutes when she had it so fucking easy.

Okay so just some fun numbers ahead.

Lets assume she needs at bare minimum 3k a month to cover everything. This is being very generous as she needs more than that for sure.

That means in order to survive the next 3 months of demonetization, she will need at bare minimum $9000 to 'survive'.

Taxes and Cameos cut means we need to double this to $18,000.

At her current $75 price, she will need to sell 240 cameos in that span of 3 months. That's roughly 3 a day.

The lower she prices them, the more she will need to sell. Imagine 600 orders at $30 per order. Averaging a minute per video, thats 10 hours of work for our fattest of ambers. That'll never fucking happen lol.

I thought that PayPal banned payment for "adult services" like the such OF is notorious for? (Amber is not smart enough to slide something like that under the table on her own, anyway.) Agree either way that not having PayPal will bite her in the ass just as much as the actual demonetization. That's the closest that you can get to being debanked online since it's used that much for everything.

I don't think Cameo will even last until January unless Amber is that desperate for money. I can see her getting some videos from reactors or the usual suckers, but even those have been lowering in number over the years. She also doesn't have friendships with other YouTubers, so it's not like she could guest collab with them and split profits for the short term.

I thought of that as an option for her. Then I remembered what merch she "designed" looked like. Tiered membership would be too much effort for her (and should've happened years ago, honestly). She could always do a Ko-Fi if she decides all the cat killer comments are worth it. Otherwise I don't know what else she could do besides GFM or straight up e begging on her community page a la Becky.

This is a good case of "don't put all your eggs in one basket," even if Amber deserves it. She found the golden goose, then ate it.

This. No job is ever guaranteed, especially ones in entertainment. If you’re fortunate enough to make far more than a living wage, investing in something else is the only way. Celebrities are always creating brands, products, going to college, buying up real estate in order to make sure that they can keep making money when they’re not so in demand anymore. Amber is no celebrity, but enjoying five figure months for many months while thinking her YouTube “career” will always be there…well, it checks out for her.
