ALR wondering why she is depressed is well..depressing. If I were in her strained ballet flats, I would be in a 24/7 existential crisis. She’s over 500 pounds, cannot manage to get to the magical 499, has no marketable skills, even if she could physically manage to work (which is highly unlikely).

No friends, no hobbies that involve another human, no prospects for anything. Just nothing. I would be terrified thinking about the next 6 months and not being able to financially support myself while on the cusp of completely debilitating medical complications. All before the age of 35. It’s bleak as hell.

What's the deal with morbidly obese beasts and hand placement in selfies? Seriously, Jude Valentine does it, Chantal has been doing it, and Amber does it. Do they think that placing a deformed trotter the size of a catcher's mitt near center will make their face look any slimmer?
 
I think everyone collectively made this face when Amber said she doesn’t know why she’s depressed and has nothing to be depressed about.

besides being 500+lbs, I personally would be depressed that I blew all the money I made over the years on GARBAGE and now have a small 1br barren apartment. Also being socially inept so I have to keep meeting online friends who block me after awhile because I’m a bitch. Ambers too proud to see that’s she’s probably in the most lonesome empty era currently.


Anyways on a side note do you guys think that if her and Becky lived in that apartment and the dryer was broken like that, that Amber would get up and haul her clothes to that other apartment or Becky?

Amber is in her early 30s and is still trying to portray herself as a teenager. Her words, interests and behaviour are so far behind what they should be at her age, I don’t see how she could attract a real love interest and that’s besides her obvious ultra fatness and resulting medical issues.

Humans her age are generally well launched into adult life, even if CoVD and the economy made for late starts. Many have found life partners, have had children, are active in their community and church, have a friend group with which to socialize as well as hobbies and interests. A good percentage continue with their formal education. Not everyone is balancing all or even most of that but they’re doing some of these things.

Amber is a Stay At Home slug. She has no education to speak of, no intellectual curiosity or css as pacify for same, it seems, no interests befitting her age and zero independence. That’s on top of her weight and weight related health issues.

I’m not willing to speculate on the relationships she has within her family; she’s an unreliable narrator and we don’t have their stories. Not sure how things really stand with her mother but that individual would do them both a favour if she set hard boundaries and stuck to them,

It’s human nature to only make changes when something you’re doing becomes uncomfortable and being able to depend on Christine for rides, help, company incentivizes no changes.

For that matter, neither does never seriously confronting your own issues.

If Amber lands a ‘partner’, it’s going to be transactional and I’m guessing, heavily in favour of the partner. The only possible advantage Amber may hold is money and that well is filling more slowly with each padding month.

She is going to fade into obscurity unless she does something really outrageous and she doesn’t have that in her.

This gets posted all the time in this thread and I’m just not seeing it.

There is a huge problem with late millennials and gen z flat out refusing to adult. In places like Kentucky and Oklahoma being in your late 20s/30s and being able to pay rent is an accomplishment. Most have absolutely no connection to their communities outside of social media and no hobbies. Dead end jobs.

I see it all the time with more junior employees when you ask them what they did over the weekend they literally scrolled through TikTok for 48 hours straight. Not even shit posting, only consuming content.

“Everyone is living a great life but Amber” they pretty much all seem fucked if you ask me and need to get off my lawn.
 
I watched the SBTA. I thought it was really entertaining. My only umbrage with it is the insistence on calling Becky...Beck. I understand that side of the internet feeds into stupid shit like that though.
The end was scathing. We all know Hamber watched it. I cannot imagine hearing that about yourself without changing something. He is completely right.
I actually recommend SBTA as a starting point for Hamber recently to a Co worker.

Hopefully Snowflake was just indulging the Thumb's stupidity about the Beck situation type deal cause he wants that interview. Would be quite a coup to be the first reactor (in their tiny, tiny world) to get the long held tea. Which beck-EEEE is too stupid to cash in for herself.

I didn’t watch it, but mr snowflake brings a huge amount of eyeballs to ALR’s channel so I doubt it she gives a fuck about being an internet villain. The only devastating thing for people like ALR is not getting attention.
