People have been asking Amber to just do ANYTHING outside of the house, and for once she delivered. But this just felt so forced, like she didn't go out to do things because she truly wanted to, but because she had to for her viewers and had to follow a script (walking bit, touch stuff, show cat, walk Twinkie, hint of Jade, buy and show crap, etc). Definitely not the same vibe of her old videos, this was absolutely joyless and performative.
 
The one thing that triggered me about her latest video is the fact that she lets those black pants drag everywhere on the store room at Ross.

It's not even about how far she is from the apartment, if you think about it. She could go to Cuba like Chantal and it would still just be her fondling and pointing at shells on the beach, eating, and cackling at Jade who is muttering directions off camera. Even just in the back yard of Casa Fag we had more engaging content than this. Remember her and Becky just floating around in that paddling pool like captive orcas at Seaworld? They were meters away from their door and yet Tilikumlynn was 10x more riveting than her molesting handbags at Ross with Wipester.
 
The obvious fake bullshit this 500 lb tub of FAT shovels out legit makes me mad at the internet. There is not a single ounce of genuine personality or feeling in anything she says or does.

RIght? All of this shopping is basically across the street from her house. THe goodwill, the dollar tree, the kroger, ross.. (cheesecake factory!)
Now she's not wearing the same top, but I wouldnt doubt if several videos come out of this area and were all recorded over this past weekend and slow dripped out throughout the month.
And i believe this is why almost every month its like 'OMG SHE GOT SO MUCH BIGGER ALL OF A SUDDEN" as she batch makes videos, or uploads them in a wierd chronological order...so one day you see a video and she's 502.4 and the next video she's 540.8

The name change was mentioned here. We just went "lol okay Amber you're desperate for attention" and moved on.

I also didn't even realize that she was wearing a choker in that photo. It just looks like a deep indent in her barely there neck, especially in thumbnail form.
 
For years we've commented on how she takes on, (or tries to & badly fails), personality traits & character aspects of other online with far larger audiences - Trisha Paytas, Pink Sparkles, etc.

Now, she's overtly acting on every suggestion made here & no doubt other places, about what she can do to increase her views & garner genuine interest.

It's not going to work - too blatant, too scripted & wooden & booooooooooring.

She's hit the time when she no longer has anything to attract her "chosen" demographic... 10-13 year olds. Who else might have even a passing interest in her content? 14 & up, no matter how sheltered an upbringing they've had, are better educated than she is, more sophisticated & world wise.

I don't know who she wants to attract to her site. WOMEN her age, if they're not stalled pre-teens, have nothing in common with her. They're establishing their careers, busy with growing families & looking at their long term success & prosperity & yes, I'm speaking in generalities, there are always exceptions. They may be involved in community service, have whatever level of social life they choose or have time for & whatever their status in life, have something to talk about, based on a growing collection of life experiences.

Amber offers nothing to anybody. She's not only poorly educated but her far greater sin in my mind, is willful ignorance. Don't know something? No excuse with the massive reach of the interwebz, not to take a minute or 2 to look something up. She has no life experiences or very few & those minor things she has are of little or no interest to maturing WOMEN her age.

She has no skills - no job skills, no life skills & her "excuse" of: "I'm skeered!" isn't cute or quirky. It's a massive cop out that no rational person has any patience for. She strikes me as embarrassing to be around as her ability to engage in polite conversation seems minimal.

We frquently spoke of Becky being a thumb, (I really need to go back in the lore & learn the origin of that!) but Amber is a lump - a diseased, dying, filthy, quasi-performative LUMP, beyond any meaningful redemption.

I see she's finally hit 200K subs. I'd be very curious to see, if her channel got wiped & she had to start a new one, how many active subs she could generate. I suspect it would be well under 30K. Her views are slowly but steadily dropping & unless she realizes & ACTS on the need to provide something genuinely interesting, that is going to continue. Her kiddy quirks stopped cutting it long ago & there is no shortage of more interesting cows in the pasture.

6+ years of this shitshow, and what do we have? 31 years old, 500+ pounds. No education, no skills, no actual career, no legitimate friends, and every video of this "life" consists of one of 3 things;

- Eating garbage
- Buying garbage
- Looking like garbage

Watching that video while knowing how much weight Amber has gained over the years made me laugh. If anyone wants to revisit her ideas of all the magic things that were going to get the weight off that failed, or the halcyon days of the Kentucky Gaycare, ffs find the archives here instead of giving Amber attention.

It certainly sounds that way, but I do not think that a carer would come from NYC to help her, but it would explain why she is not on camera. It could well be that instead of having to pay for the room, Jade accepted to cook for her.

Her timeline is already screwed up. In her previous video, she got rid of her headache. but now has one for the last 20 hours. She said that she has videos for the month of May. I fully expect that none of the videos will be in order.

A successful YTer told me that it is very important to keep growing your audience since people tend to quit watching you for numerous reasons. As she ages, as you correctly noted, people will lose interest in what she was doing 3-5-8 years ago. The teens are not watching her (anymore), certainly not busy mothers with a career, etc. What is left is tuning out to someone more crazy like Chantal.


Now, in her last video, she has done what millions of people do every day: having breakfast and tea, going to get the mail, going to the shops. Why would anyone want to watch this? This is the life of countless individuals. People are not interested to see what they do every day.

It's the 3rd of May and she's already shot and finished an entire month of videos? She doesn't make longform essays or even gameplay videos, she makes vlogs. Not even travel vlogs or event vlogs, just daily life vlogs. It's impossible for these videos to be good in any way when they're an entire months worth of shopping videos and get ready with me videos made in less than a weeks time. This is so dumb.
